Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Cameron M.

Instructor
Hi, my name is Cameron Moats and I am currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood education! I have a lot of experience with tutoring students in math and have spent 3 years working at summer camps as a camp counselor! I love Mathnasium because it allows me the opportunity to give kids that "lightbulb moment" where everything clicks and falls into place! Also, math is the best subject out there without question. I may or may not be biased.

Vernessa H.

Instructor
Hello, I am Vernessa Harrell. Math is my second career but my first love. I have known since middle school that I would teach math. I am a certified Math Teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education from Mercer University. Mathnasium gives me the opportunity to do what I love, help children to grow their math skills and in doing so they become confident math students and analytical thinkers.

Meagan L.

Instructor
Hi everyone! My name is Meagan Le and I am a student attending Collins Hill High School. I love teaching kids and seeing their faces light up when they understand what they’re learning. My favorite subject is math because I like the way math problems have an answer. Working at Mathnasium brings both of my interests of teaching kids and doing math together.

Ambrose B.

Instructor
Hi! I’m Ambrose, the third of my brothers to be a Mathnasium instructor. I’m a junior at Collins Hill High School, and I love the way math concepts work together and build on each other. I like getting to know the students, and teaching them the relevance of math in their own lives.

Angelina N.

Instructor
Hello! My name is Angelina Nguyen. I’m currently a student of Discovery High School. My favorite subject is math and I enjoy sharing that with the students. Being at Mathnasium and being around the kids is a wonderful experience for me and I want to allow the kids to feel the same experience and joy from being here with us.

William W.

Instructor
Hi my name is William Wieberg and I’m a current student at Discovery High School. Math is one of my favorite subjects because of how much of it applies to the world. I also enjoy tutoring students as it allows me to help them learn important things they’ll need in the future. Being at Mathnasium allows me to bring my love for math and liking for tutoring students together in one place.

Karason M.

Instructor
Hello! I am Karason Mach, a junior at Peachtree Ridge High School. One of my favorite subjects in school is math, and I love spreading my love for the subject to students at Mathnasium. There are always different ways to understand things in life not just math, and having multiple methods to take on a topic can help make things easier! Being at Mathnasium gives me a new experience of teaching younger students how fun math can be and also allows me to connect with new people here

Jimmy C.

Instructor
Hi there! My name is Jimmy Chow, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Georgia State University. I've always been fascinated by how different areas of math link together and build upon each other like an intricate puzzle. When I was younger, I have always wondered how seemingly odd math topics connect together. By tutoring at Mathnasium, I can help my students connect those seemingly separate dots, turning those scary math topics into a world of endless possibilities. It is my goal for students to have a deep appreciation for the transformative power of math, empowering them to tackle more challenging math with confidence and creativity.

Andrew Tep

Instructor
Hey! My name is Andrew Tep and I am currently a student attending Collins Hill High School. Math has been one of my favorite subjects ever since elementary school because of the way the problems always have an answer. I love learning new concepts and having to use the old ones to solve the new concepts. I like solving problems and being at Mathnasium will allow me to get the experience to teach younger students and show them the fun in math!

Adam Bartel

I just graduated from the University of North Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, minoring in physics. I genuinely love my job, I believe in what we do and I am always happy to see and help students, old and new.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
