Hello! My name is Shrestha (sure-es-ta) and I am a third year undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in neuroscience. I have been helping students improve their math skills since 2021 and learn to love math as much as I do. I personally was a student at Mathnasium when I was in elementary and middle school and excelled in math myself as a result. I strive to help students engage in math with the same confidence I gained from going to Mathnasium. Favorite number: 11 because it's odd and I love a good mystery. Math fact: a typical cloud weighs about a million tonnes.

Hello, my name is Brian Meyer. I am a lead instructor at the Annapolis and North Potomac Mathnasium locations. I have been with Mathnasium since May of 2016. I am also a middle school math teacher in Montgomery County. I have been teaching since 2005. My wife, Kate and I have been married since 2023 and have a beautiful daughter named Grace who was born in 2014. I have a collection of sports memorabilia that includes bobbleheads, autographed mini-helmets, and sports cards.

I am currently a senior at Poolesville High School and interested in studying mathematics and biology! Favorite number: 23 Math joke: What do mathematicians do after it snows? Make snow ANGLES! Fun fact: Bacteria make up as much as 3% of human body mass!

I am currently a senior at Northwest High School and am interested in studying Aerospace Engineering at a 4-year university. Favorite number: 7 Math joke: Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because seven, eight, nine! Fun fact: The color orange was actually named after oranges.

Hi, my name is George and I am currently in my first year of trade school at Lincoln Tech where I am studying to get my electrician certification. My hobbies include spending time with friends and family, spending time outside, and anything to do with cars. My favorite number is 8 because it’s my sister’s lucky number that she wears for all her games as well as my favorite quarter back (Lamar Jackson). Math fact: 7 is one of the most unique numbers. It is the only single number that can not be divisible by a number and be kept in the 1-10 number range.

I am currently a senior at Wootton High School and am interested in studying biomedical or aerospace engineering. In my free time I love to read, hang out with friends & family, and play with my dog. My favorite number is 6 because it was my jersey number on my soccer team. Math joke: What did the triangle say to the circle? You're pointless! Fun fact: The number 2 is the smallest prime number and only even prime number!
