We are OPEN for both in-center instruction and our online platform, Mathnasium @Home.

Our Team

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:

Rachael M., Center Director

Rachael joins Mathnasium with a background in most recently teaching children with Autism and previously at a private school in Las Vegas. She also spent several years as an educator and program coordinator at a planetarium, which she loved. That love of education and astronomy has led her to enroll at Arizona State University to complete her degree in astronomy. Her favorite movie? 'It's a classic, Casablanca'.

Kush P., Instructor

Kush is a senior at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. In his free time he likes to code, run, or watch sports. Which makes sense why attending the Olympics is on his 'bucket list'. His favorite movie is 'Inception', which he watches while eating his favorite food, tacos.

Andrew K., Instructor

Andrew is a sophomore at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. When not at school or at Mathnasium he likes to play hockey, read, or exercise. On is bucket list is to step foot on every continent. Favorite movie? Star Wars!

Christian S., Instructor

Christian is (not surprisingly!) a sophomore at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. On his bucket list is to visit Paris and enjoy a baguette. In the meantime, his favorite vacation memory will have to be visiting Cancun. He also really likes instant ramen because he believes whoever came up with it is a genius.

Anika M., Instructor

Anika is a junior attending Chaparral High School. When not working or studying she enjoys sketching, baking, and crocheting. One of her 'bucket list' items is for an extended visit to Japan to experience the culture. Anika did enjoy her trip to Hawaii, mainly because of its remoteness!
