January News from Mathnasium!

A Note From Our Owner

The flipping of the calendar evokes all sorts of emotions! There’s anticipation of a new year, excitement for new changes, and enthusiasm for that new diet or workout plan (okay, maybe not). Any way you approach it, a new year affords an excellent opportunity for all of us to evaluate, reset, and re-energize.

As parents, it can be understandably difficult to manage everything in a new year. However, I want each of you to know that Mathnasium stands with you in this season--and every season. We exist to assist you as you manage all things math related

According to the calendar, we are about halfway through the current school year. Thus, now is an opportune time to check in with your students and see how they are progressing at Mathnasium. Our aim is to encourage and build up every student, parent, and teacher!

If there is anything Mathnasium can do to help you in this season, please reach out to your center director and he/she will be excited to help you. We look forward to doing just that in 2020.

Team Member Spotlight: Noah (Redondo Beach)

Noah was born in Norwalk and attended Gahr High School. He is currently enrolled at Cerritos College and has plans to transfer to Cal State Long Beach in order to pursue a degree in Economics. He has a big passion for helping students come to learn and understand math. His favorite part of tutoring is reaching that “break-through” moment where a concept makes sense to a student. Recreationally, he loves to read and go sightseeing.

Favorite food?

My favorite food would have to be the Rigatoni Bolognese dish from Maria's Italian Kitchen.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

If I ever had the chance, I would love to travel to Italy. I'm really into a lot of the history there.

Fun fact about yourself?

An interesting fact about myself is that I enjoy exploring and experiencing the outdoors. Whether it is a walk through a forest or a hike up a mountain, I take delight in those activities all the same.
