Have you ever wondered what Mathnasium is all about? Would you like to find out what we do before having to commit to a membership? Now you can. Enjoy a one-hour free trial session on us! This is a great way for your child to see what it is like to be a Mathlete at Mathnasium and for us to learn more about your situation.
Not only will your child will get excellent math instruction on material we will provide during the trial session, but he or she can also get help on his homework from school. While your child has his trial session, someone will be available to answer any and all questions you may have about our programs and how we can help.

We cannot say enough good things about the Okemos, Michigan, Mathnasium location! Director Graham is our daughter’s favorite tutor of all time. He has been extremely helpful to us for many years now and it really shows in our daughter’s progress and passion for math. She is going to be a high school senior soon and she really excels in all areas of math. She will forever take with her all she has learned as she continues forward into university studies. We truly value the relationship our family has had, and continues to have, with Graham and his wonderful crew at the Okemos location. Thank you!!

Our daughter has been at Mathnasium for the past few years. She has gone from being frustrated and despising math to being one of the top math students in her high school class. The plan that Graham and his team have set for her works well and she continues to go back to things that she has forgotten over time. .
We have also appreciated the learn at home option over the past year.

We absolutely love Mathnasium, the tutors are excellent and with the Mathnasium @ Home option it is very convenient. We are two full-time working parents and our kids are involved in multiple activities and not having to transport to an additional location is huge for us. I feel confident Mathnasium is helping my two daughters progress and fill in any gaps from the adjustment in moving from in school learning to 100% remote as well as preventing the Summer Slide.

My son enjoys his sessions with Mathnasium as it has helped him grow and gain confidence in Math! The staff is patient, helpful and enthusiastic which makes for an optimum environment for my son to learn. Mathnasium is great with scheduling too, as you drop in/out during the week during open business hours around your busy schedule.

Mathnasium is AMAZING! They have open hours for your child to attend according to their schedules during the week, so it works around sports and other extra curricular activities which is a great plus! Our son looks forward to going and has a passion for math because Mathnasium was there to help support what he was learning in school. The extra time was critical for him. The instructors are SUPER and have patience along with a willingness to help your child learn and retain the information. Great place and if you have been thinking about giving it a try, just do it! Your child will gain confidence and the support they need to succeed!

My husband and I were very impressed with Mathnasium from the moment we walked through the door. The director as well as the tutors were welcoming and professional. The center itself was well organized and conducive to a positive learning environment. Mathnasium is a great place for kids who need extra help in learning and solidifying concepts in Math. The teachers are very helpful and patient. My son, Nicholas truly enjoys going to Mathnasium and actually requests to go, as Mathnasium makes math FUN! You will see major growth and learning results here. Great place.

Graham was most accommodating in working with my daughter. She has a math deficit and was really trying to complete a course. He made time for her up to 3 times per week which may not be the norm.
He is professional kind and understanding.
On a daily basis there were students in the facility working individually or together working.

My son has never liked math and hated going to tutoring elsewhere, so have been thrilled when he didn’t mind going to mathnasium. I know this doesn’t sound like a compliment, but the fact that my son tolerates going to Mathnasium is huge. I see his attitude and confidence about math gradually increasing, which was the ultimate goal. He may not admit it, but we notice it. He likes that there are other kids at all different levels, including a lot of kids with advanced math abilities, which makes him feel better about going...less of a negative connotation when compared to other tutoring with only struggling students.

Mathnasium has given my child more confidence in math and to view it as fun! Nicholas loves to tell us what problems he can solve and his assessment scores in school have consistently improved. The instructors are very helpful and assist to teach Math in a way that my Nicholas understand and learns, it's customized to his needs!

Works well one on one with my daughter who has difficulty comprehending math. Patient, supportive and encouraging.
Flexibility in scheduling to help her schedule frequently during the week.
Program provides support to our family aa we do not have to spend hours trying to work thru material we don't understand.

We love Mathnasium and the staff. We enrolled our daughter because she was struggling and lacking in self-esteem when it comes to all things Math! I'm pleased to say that Mathnasium has sparked her interest in Math and is helping to unlock some things in her brain that were otherwise untapped (in my opinion.) I feel that this program is giving my child what she needs to succeed and we are continuing through indefinitely.
Not to mention, her sessions at Mathnasium with homework help take away the angst of doing homework at home as the staff is able to guide her through much easier than I am.

My 7 year old has confidence in Math! It's exciting and it's a self esteem booster for her! She filled out a "all about me" sheet at school and the question was asked, "what are you confident in?" She wrote, "Math!" The next question was, "what subject are you the best at?" Her answer was, "math!" Thank you!!

Our daughter was receiving the message at school that she wasn't good at math and we worried that this message was becoming self-fulfilling. We enrolled her at mathnasium hoping that she would gain confidence and learn mathematics in a way that made sense to her, rather than the standardized test-centered approach that her current teacher was using at school.
She has been going for one month now and we are already seeing visible improvements in her confidence. She loves going, and will sometimes even do extra math problems at home after her homework is completed. She has been learning strategies for speeding up her problem solving that make intuitive sense to her. We are sorry that she didn't get this from her elementary school education, but thankful that Mathnasium was there to fill the gap.
