Divyata Griggs, Center Director
Divyata has a Masters degree in electrical engineering and is also a registered patent agent. After working at a startup specializing in IC design and power management, she went on to focus on intellectual property and has worked at IP firms in various roles of IP licensing and patent portfolio management, and for the past 8 years has worked at Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). Education has always been an important part of Divyata's life — her parents were both educators in India. Divyata developed a renewed passion for education after volunteering at her two boys' elementary school. She believes that math is a fundamental skill and is passionate about helping kids reach their potential while creating an environment that kids look forward to returning to time and again.
Jaehee, Assistant Center Director
Jaehee has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Biology and a minor in Education in Math and Sciences. She has been tutoring students of different levels with math and science and always had a passion for teaching. She believes that math is very important not only in education, but in life and hopes to help kids develop mathematical understanding and mastery.
Anh, Lead Instructor
Anh is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a teaching credential. She has previously tutored students with math and has a passion for both mathematics and teaching. She believes that mathematical practice is important and hopes to make learning math fun for all students.
Marshal, Lead Instructor
Marshal has a Bachelor's degree in General Mathematics. He helped his friends through math and science all throughout school, but it wasn't until college when he officially got into tutoring and hasn't looked back since. He loves helping students develop confidence in their mathematical skills, and believes this is the key to math becoming accessible and fun to everyone.
Anushya, Instructor
Anushya has a Masters degree in Biomedical & Chemical engineering, a MBA in International Business and currently works in the Pharmaceutical industry. She has seen how a strong foundation in Math can propel one’s career. While working with adults is a requirement for her, Anushya found an irreplaceable joy working with kids through her various experiences teaching students Math, Engineering, and Dance. Her goal at Mathnasium is to share her love for math with students by making it as enjoyable as possible!
Monisha, Instructor
Monisha has a master’s degree in bioengineering, a bachelor’s degree in economics, and is currently working in research & development at a biotech startup. She has a strong technical background in math and science and is passionate about working with kids to support their success and reach their potential when it comes to mathematics and the real world.
