Our Team
Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:
Kylie H., Center Director
Kylie joined the Mathnasium team because of her love (and knowledge!) of Math. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Easter Michigan University. Kylie has a passion for the arts and has spent several years with stage production management, as well as costume design. But her love for Math led her to start a career change into teaching and Mathnasium was a natural fit to start that transition.
Gabbi B., Instructor
Gabbi is currently attending Arizona State University. People would be surprised to know that she really likes boxing and attends class/workouts six days a week! Her favorite vacation was a trip to Ireland because of the incredible people and scenery that is there.
Andy W. G., Instructor
Andy is a junior at Sunnyslope High School. On his bucket list is to visit Japan for the sights and culture. His favorite vacation he has been on was to Hawaii where he really enjoyed the snorkeling. His favorite movie? "That Thing You Do" starring Tom Hanks.
Thein K., Instructor
Thein comes to Mathnasium after earning her Engineering degree in Information Technology. She uses what spare time she has to draw and help her own child with Math. Something people might not know about her? Her favorite movie is 'Kung-Fu Panda' (she's seen it a few time with her son!).
Logan K., Instructor
Logan is currently attending Grand Canyon University. He likes to use his spare time to skateboard, ride motorcycles, and read. On his 'bucket list' is to visit the Maldives (but he did enjoy his visit to Utah quite a bit!). His favorite food? Garlic bread!
Marc S., Instructor
Marc is a senior attending Paradise Valley High School. When not in school or at work, he likes to study new math concepts and play volleyball or basketball. Something people might not know about him? He really likes anime.
ALERT
We are OPEN for both in-center instruction and our online platform, Mathnasium @Home.
