Adana Elder, Center Director/Owner
Adana Elder brings 25 years of retail management experience to her role as Center Director and Owner of Mathnasium of Pensacola. She attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Her interest in Mathnasium stems from her longtime interest in mathematics and in working to develop children. Prior to entering the adult workforce, Adana Elder was a self-professed band geek and math nerd. For the last dozen or so years, Adana has volunteered locally in various leadership roles in Scouting, including work with Cub Scouts, Sea Scouts and as a Leave No Trace Master Educator. Her dauntless enthusiasm for children and ongoing commitment to providing outstanding professional and volunteer service make Adana Elder an ideal person to lead the day to day operations of Mathnasium of Pensacola. Adana Elder is the Center Director of Mathnasium of Pensacola.

Nina French, Assistant Center Director
Hi, my name is Nina, and I am pleased to be a Mathnasium instructor! I look forward to serving the Pensacola community with math homework help and to serve as a math tutor for your student!
Kody Kimberl, Lead Instructor
Hi! My name is Kody and I am happy to have been an Instructor for Mathnasium since my senior year of high school. I am about to complete my second year at UWF. Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed and excelled in math. I am so thankful for this opportunity to use this gift to help others. I know I can help inspire your child to love math too!
Chuck Russell, Instructor
Hi, my name is Chuck and I am one of the “vintage” instructors at Mathnasium of Pensacola. I am recently retired and spent the last thirty years of my career working as an Operations Research Analyst for the United States Army, Marine Corps and, most recently, with the United States Navy. I enjoy what we do here and love watching young minds develop and acquire an enjoyment of math. All of our students are “top notch” learners and it’s my pleasure to instruct and learn with (and sometimes from) them.
Jeremy Herren, Instructor
My great loves are math, science, cooking, and teaching. This coming fall, I will be a student at the University of South Alabama pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences and Business Administration. I started working at Mathnasium during the summer of 2020 and have loved every minute of it. My favorite thing to do is play math games with out students!
Jane Chakraborty, Instructor
Hello, I’m Jane! I am a freshman at University majoring in Chemistry and Jazz Studies. I absolutely love working at Mathnasium! The kids make being an Instructor so much fun! My absolute favorite thing is getting to see their progress, even if they don’t realize themselves that they are making it. I can not wait to get to know your students, too, and help them become more confident in math.
Ella Griffith, Instructor
I have enjoyed working at Mathnasium since August 2020. I graduated from PHS’s IB program and am currently taking a gap year before I begin attending Notre Dame University in the fall of 2021. My favorite part about teaching at Mathnasium is seeing how the students' skills develop and how their confidence with math consequently grows! My hobbies include learning and speaking foreign languages (German, French, and Japanese), singing, playing piano, and spending time outdoors.
Melissa Kruse, Instructor
Melissa currently attends Pensacola High School. She started out as a Mathnasium student, filling in a couple of missing pieces and supporting her need for a little bit of homework help. Despite the frustration that came with learning under new Covid restrictions, she moved through her material quickly and quickly stopped needing support for her homework. We are excited to add her enthusiasm for math to our team!
