Our Approach
Our programs are designed to give kids more than they get at school. Our specially trained instructors are exceptional at math and love working with kids—they make all the difference. Our experience so far with Mathnasium, and Kendall in particular, has been so great. The entire team has been welcoming and supportive, and they're all super flexible with our family's busy schedule.
We've already told several family members and friends with kids similar to my daughter's age about Mathnasium. It's changed how my daughter thinks about math, and I'm excited for my son to be old enough to attend next year.

My son enjoys his time at Mathnasium. He feels comfortable learning and says he’s happy doing math because you not only teach him, but if he gets a problem wrong, you show the right way. He complains that at school he just gets a bunch of red x’s and never knows what he did wrong and just fails the assignment. That has been a real confidence killer for him. All of the teachers in the Pflugerville Mathnasium are friendly, helpful and super supportive. My daughter's confidence with math has increased greatly since she began over a year ago. I can see the improvement in her math understanding and being able to able the lessons in the every day world to get the answers she needs. My experience as a parent has been wonderful. I was able to build a close communicative relationship with the Director, Sanjay and his staff. Felt they listened to my concerns of my childs challenges and they helped with focusing on my son's weaknesses and challenges as well as give him the confidence he needed. The assessments given were definitely an eye opener and helped us as parents see where he needed to improve most.

In just one month, our 8th grade daughter is back to her old self. She feels more confident at school. There are more good days than bad days now. Our student is definitely a fan of Mathnasium. It is just what he needed to fill in math skill gaps and gain confidence in this arena. The tutors are just great and really know how to explain things in a straightforward way. Although my students doesn't attend as often now as he has in the past, having Mathnasium as a continuing resource for homework assistance and test prep is really invaluable.

Mathnasium is fantastic and I would definitely recommend them. Mathnasium did a great job identifying my child's gaps in math and did an incredible job at filling those gaps. They provide a comfortable and non threatening environment for learning. The staff is excellent. My child was getting D's in math and shortly after joining Mathnasium started getting A's. A year later he continues to have success in math. It has also helped his all around confidence.

We had an extraordinary experience with our five kids in Mathnasium. The learning plan is solid, well organized and logical, the progress is measurable in detail and visible, and the Pflugerville location is run very well, with motivation and skill. From the time I contacted the staff at Mathnasium I was taken by the warm and inviting staff who contacted me personally and lined out the program and how the curriculum works to close the achievement gaps my child was experiencing. The materials and instant feedback has helped build my child's confidence in working through Math concepts more fluidly. Mathnasium is an extraordinary concept, implemented superbly in Pflugerville under Sanjay's expert supervision. He is highly skilled both in math and running the business, while at the same time friendly and accommodating. We have four (soon five) high energy kids enrolled, and see lots of improvement. My only regret is that we didn't discover it earlier.

Mathnasium has been invaluable in helping my son address Algebra deficiencies and Pre-Cal homework. He recently obtained his first A in math in a long time. Great team! My daughter's grades continue to improve. The changes are noticeable. Her first quarter average was a 78 and her second quarter was an 83. Currently she has a 91. Her daily grades have improved from 50s, 60s, to 85's and her highest was a 104! She can do math in her head and multiply which is a huge difference in what we consider a short period of time. She is now excited to finish her math lessons and it takes her half the time to do homework. The team of instructors are great with kids. She likes that they are fun and she respects and feels confident that they are working to help her. She trusts them. That makes us as parents feel great. We hope to remain at Mathnasium for a long time even is she starts getting A's. The atmosphere at the center has a positive energy, its inviting and my daughter feels its her place to express how she feels about math. We actually just recommended a parent looking for help and advice this afternoon.

My daughter, who was once terrified of math, now says it is her favorite subject! When her teacher announced to the class that they would begin studying times tables and multiplication I expected her to feel anxious and nervous but instead she came home excited that they were learning something "more challenging". My son needed one on one help with math to overcome some weak spots. He enjoys working with the highly intelligent people who tutor him at Mathnasium. He says they are able to explain things to him differently than they had in school. He also likes that he doesn't have to expose that he doesn't understand to a whole class of students.

We've only been a client for about a month, but so far my son seems to be progressing well. I like the mix of assistance with immediate problems (homework/upcoming tests) and strengthening problem areas from previous years. My son likes the instructors he is working with and is comfortable asking them questions. I think he was afraid of feeling "dumb" because he needed extra help, but he doesn't feel that way at all. It has become obvious to him that when he can get his specific questions answered in a timely way, he is able to "get it", he just can't always get that kind of individual attention in a classroom setting. His grades have already started to improve in a dramatic way. Thanks!

My 12 yr old daughter has improved leaps and bounds since she started at Mathnasium Pflugerville just over a month ago! We intended on putting her in temporarily in order to prepare for the Math STAAR tests but she was improving so much that we decided to sign her up for a year! Not only has Mathnasium helped her grades but its also improved her confidence immensely! She ACTUALLY enjoys and looks forward to going to Mathnasium! WHAT!? My child got very behind in upper level high school math after recent jaw surgery. When she started at Mathnasium, it looked almost impossible for her to pass the grading period. But one month into the Mathnasium program, she passed for the grading period. Typically each session includes both work from school and skill building based on their initial assessment of her skills. The skill building Is helping with ACT and SAT preparation. But, they were also flexible with her about focusing on homework and test preparation for a couple of sessions to make sure she had her best chance to pass the class.
