My daughter is in 6th grade this year and she has struggled with math since 3rd grade. She has had private tutors before but it has been a provisional fix for her. Finally, this year we decided to try the program at Mathnasium since the beginning of the shool year, it is amazing how much my daughter has accomplished in such a short period of time. The most important thing about her process is that she has regained the confidence in herself, she trusts what she knows and she is not afraid of making mistakes and correcting them later. She loves to go to Mathnasium because of the nice facility, how welcome she feels when she attends and the kindness of the instructors that she has. My daughter just received her scores from her winter district test and she improved her overall score as well as the different standards given to her. She feels like a winner and we are really proud for her. Bottom line, Mathnasium is exactly the happy math place that we were looking for and we are grateful for all that our daughter has accomplished thanks to their team.

My daughter received one-on-one help to prepare for her SAT. Great tutor - Mathnasium staff did a good job of matching my daughter with a tutor that was a good "fit" for her. My daughter was much more confident going into the SAT and it showed in her score! Very happy and highly recommend Mathnasium.

We have two children who attend Mathnasium and they love this place! The instructors really help to foster their love of math. Our first-grader has especially excelled, recently winning a grade-wide math bee at her school. We credit Mathnasium with helping give her the extra boost of confidence she needed!

Mathnasium challenges my son and supplements his studies in school in a way that makes him competitive in the global market. I believe that our school mathematics curriculum is lagging behind most nations we compete with. I am thankful a program like Mathnasium exists to help my son build the right foundation in mathematics and critical thinking to get him ready for high school, college, and beyond!

Love the owner Monica, love the process and the feel of the encironment (decor, music, game table, etc) and its never hard to get my kids to go since it’s all done onsite, and there are great incentives. My kids have said the tutors they’ve worked with are super nice, and during the 5-10 minutes I sit and wait for them I overhear how encouraging and helpful they are with helping the kids think about problems in different ways and motivate them to have success. For us, it’s a huge bridge to be doing math work in this fashion heading into next school year.

Mathnasium (Quail Hollow location) is a fantastic resource for students(and parents). The program is well conceived and meets the broad scope of math foundation needs. The added bonus of enthusiastic, positive, present tutors make the experience positive and productive for my children. Additionally, the program encourages self paced learning and inspires an true appreciation of math!

My son absolutely loves coming there. His math grades went from C to A and he enjoys math now. He made friends in Mathnesium and he is looking up to them (especially the older boys). He is always telling me how organized and smart his new friends are. We will certainly continue with Mathnesium for a long time.

Both of my girls are attending Mathnasium. One for almost a year and the other just started. What I will say to all who ask - I would recommend Mathnasium wholeheartedly, but be patient with your child. They did not get where they are overnight and the solution will not happen overnight. What is very immediate is the care, concern, communication (100%) that you will receive from the staff and Monica Palmer.

Monica Palmer and her staff at Mathnasium could not be more communicative, helpful, and effective. There is always an air of positivity and enthusiasm in the air the moment a student walks in the door. To feel welcome I think promotes confidence not only in a way that makes a student feel they will be tutored well by the knowledgeable staff, but it makes them feel like "I can do this!" A sincere interest in each student is obvious. Who doesn't benefit from kindness?

My daughter's math skills - and more importantly her confidence - have increased tremendously over the past school year. Even when she "hated" math, she always enjoyed going to Mathnasium. With 2x a week, 1 hour visits to Mathnasium on our own flexible schedule, my daughter has slowly but steadily gained skills and confidence in math. The girl who began 4th grade 6 months ago crying each day during math class is now happily doing her math homework (on her own, without urging and fights ensuing!), is enjoying not only her Mathnasium visits but also her math class in school, and even got an A+ on her most recent math assessment at school!! While it's evident she is gaining understanding of numbers and math concepts, it is incredible that she is exuding CONFIDENCE in math!" THANK YOU MATHNASIUM!!
