Jose Castro

Tutor
Jose Castro, a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, believes in the transformative power of education and mentorship. His educational journey began at Coral Reef Senior High, shaping his values and perspective. For Jose, life is an exploration of meaningful experiences, and he is dedicated to making every moment count. Whether he's dancing, engaging in sports, or teaching, his true passion lies in fostering the success and development of others. Jose sees himself as a mentor, particularly to the youth, helping them become the best versions of themselves. While his academic background is in marketing, Jose's focus transcends business to embrace the joy of guiding individuals toward their goals. His true fulfillment comes from sharing his passion for math, using it as a tool to mentor and inspire students. Beyond the confines of traditional education, Jose actively seeks opportunities to contribute positively to the lives of others. Cedric

Tutor
Cedric graduated from Shaw University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiotherapy with a minor in Psychology. Now he teaches at Kids Learning Center of South Dade and has been there for 5 years. Cedric always wanted to be a Physical Therapist but fell in love with teaching when he was assigned an Internship at a local school in Raleigh, North Carolina as an interventionist. That is when he was convinced he wanted to teach. Cedric will be soon furthering his education in hopes of earning a Masters degree in educational leadership.

Isabella

Isabella is currently a student at the school for advanced studies. Her plans after high school are to pursue a bachelor's degree in biomedical and later in the future become an anesthesiologist. Currently Isabella is on track to receive her high school diploma and associate's in arts degree through dual enrollment classes. Isabella enjoys spending time with family and doing chemistry labs though her dual enrollment.

Frank Sanchez

Frank is currently a student at Florida International University pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science. After earning his degree, Frank plans on either becoming a web developer, data analyst or working on artificial intelligence. Although that may change as he is always exploring other interests. Frank enjoys programming and has a huge interest in technology, seeing it as improving the everyday lives of people. Frank first started tutoring his friends during his freshman year of college and enjoyed helping his peers understand math, so he started tutoring in his spare time from classes. Frank not only believes that technology is the future, but also the future generations who will be working with said technology and he is proud to have a hand at developing both the future generation of students and technology.

Kiara Martin

Meet Kiara Martin, a senior at John A. Ferguson High School who is passionate about navigating the challenging world of gifted, honors classes, dual enrollment, and AP courses. With a deep interest in psychology, she aspires to earn an AA degree to pave her way toward becoming a psychiatrist. Kiara's unexpected journey into teaching began when she stumbled upon a tutoring opportunity, and since then, she has found immense joy in helping others grasp mathematical concepts. As a committed tutor at Mathnasium, Kiara brings her love for teaching and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on her students' educational journeys.

Jayden Guzman

Tutor
Jayden is currently a student at Saint Brendan and is involved in robotics engineering. Jayden spends his high school life learning and studying about space and excelling in math and sciences as someday wants to make it into NASA. He plans on majoring in either mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering at FIU. Jayden loves building robots and coding them because it truly is the future and he believes technology will make our world better. Also, he loves making others laugh and smile, and he loves teaching his friends math and other subjects they struggle in because afterwards it makes him happy to see them succeed.
