Megha Schmalzle

Instructor
Math was Megha's favorite subject growing up and she has been teaching kids math since she was in high school. She believes any student can develop their math skills with engaging guidance and consistent practice. As a current medical student at The New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, she likes learning about the applications of math in the real world, especially in the sciences and healthcare. She is grateful to be a part of the Mathnasium team and hopes her enthusiasm for math motivates students to reach their full potential.

Matthew Lutchmidat

Instructor
Matthew graduated from Bayside High School and is currently a student at Stony Brook University. He discovered his love for math in elementary school. During that time he found himself to be advanced in the subject and wanted to help his fellow classmates succeed. This led to his desire to tutor and help as many people as he possibly could. Matthew is ecstatic to be part of the Mathnasium team and plans to share all his knowledge with the terrific students as well as inspire them to do their best!

Ken Sukhram

Instructor
Ken graduated from Queens High School for the Sciences at York College is currently a student at New York University, where he plans to pursue a degree in child and adolescent psychology. He hopes to encourage his students to approach math with an open mind, and he is proud to be a member of the Mathnasium team!

Having returned to the U.S. from Korea in his first year of middle school, Sean struggled with English but excelled in math, and quickly fell in love with the subject. Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
