Job Responsibilities:

  • Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Work with team members to deliver positive, individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Assess student's learning progress and engagement throughout lessons
  • Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
  • Support a safe, welcoming and professional learning environment


  • Passion for math, teaching children is necessary for success
  • Must have finished Pre-Calculus at least. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive teamwork mindset
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained, pride in a job well done
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I (positions for higher math instructors, as well)
  • Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
  • Online Instructors should have strengths in teaching with an energetic and engaging personality, using technology, providing online instruction, and troubleshooting basic technical issues
  • Must be able to work a minimum of two days a week, between the hours of 3:30pm - 7:30pm (Mon-Thurs) and/or 10am - 2pm (Sat), you will work about 10-15 hours in pay period

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. 

Pay is commensurate with experience. Working schedule will be picked on mutual availability
