Logan Grabowski

Owner & Center Director

Logan is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Royal Oak. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, Logan worked in the Oakland School District at an alternative High School program helping students learn math. He has a BS in Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and worked as a Mathnasium Instructor after graduating college. He found the teaching methodology within the Mathnasium Method extremely effective for students of all ages, and worked strategies he learned from Mathnasium into his teaching curriculum. After spending a year teaching math in Shanghai, China, he returned home to open his own Mathnasium Center. He is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children of the community.

Emily Paye

Assistant Center Director

Emily is the Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of Royal Oak. She is passionate about education, and was previously an instructor at Mathnasium before deciding to join the administrative team. Emily studied Music Performance at Wayne State University and has taught private music lessons to children K-12 for almost a decade. She believes in the importance of establishing a good foundational understanding of core subjects like math and music and finds it a privilege to be a part of the educational process.

Rapheal Watson

Instructor

Rapheal is an instructor at Mathnasium of Royal Oak. He is an undergraduate at Eastern Michigan University studying to be an elementary teacher with a focus on math. While not in school, Rapheal loves cooking, spending time with family/friends, and traveling. He believes that all children experience growth at their own unique pace, and being at Mathnasium has allowed him to prepare to be a great educator.

Caitlin Jones

Instructor

Caitlin is an instructor at Mathnasium of Royal Oak. She is currently going to school for her Bachelors degree in education. She graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associates degree in general studies. She love math and is passionate about being a math instructor because she is able to share her love of math with others. In her free time, she like to read. Her favorite quote is "Everyone is a math person".

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
