Heather Schlanger

Center Director
Heather is currently a Junior at Florida Atlantic University where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing. She previously graduated from the G-Star school of arts with an IB diploma. Working at Mathnasium of Royal Palm Beach has provided her with the opportunity to help others better understand and find a love for math as she has. Heather has been a member of the Mathnasium team since 2019 and continues to believe every student can succeed in math with the proper tools and support.

Ivan Nunez

Instructor
Senior at Wellington Highschool with a passion for making math fun! As a Mathnasium instructor, he loves to interact and teach students fun ways to grasp different math concepts. Apart from teaching at Mathnasium, Ivan loves to play tennis and compete in swimming competitions.

Bria Mintzer

Instructor
Senior at Florida Atlantic University pursing a bachelors degree in Multimedia Studies, Film, Video and New Media. Bria has always loved math and has chosen to teach it to students at Mathnasium, hoping that they will find the same love she has for math. When Bria's not at Mathnasium you can find her playing board games or getting lost in a good book!

Alexis Dunkley

Instructor
She is a junior at royal palm beach highschool completing the IB program. She has had a passion for math throughout her education and would like to impart knowledge to students too. She enjoys motivating others to help them succeed!

Kat Grosek

Instructor
Kat is a freelance writer, tutor, archaeologist, and a new graduate of Florida Atlantic University. In August 2022, they obtained their B.A. in Anthropology. They are currently working at this Mathnasium as well as the West Palm Beach location while doing their freelance work. They love the unit circle, choral music, Bengali cooking, and all their students.

Albertina Abrate

Instructor
Albertina, an exceptional presence at Alexander W Dreyfoos School of the Arts (August 2020 - June 2024), achieved a remarkable GPA of 3.94 and held a class rank of 19/345. Serving as co-president and co-founder of FEM in STEM, she championed women's involvement in STEM fields and facilitated accessibility through innovative curriculum. Albertina's commitment extended to leadership roles in Red Cross Club, Cards 4 Care, and impactful volunteer work at Lighthouse Art Center and ARTS Camp, showcasing her dedication and enriching our community. We are so happy to have Albertina!
