Excited to send my kids to Mathnasium to enhance their Math journey. All the staff are great. Only negative experience was the building location move and the change in location Director but the kids still seem to enjoy the center and I should see how it impacts their learning in the next couple months.

What a great confidence booster. A combination of complex material and a poor Algebra teacher led us to Mathnasium, where we learned there were gaps in my son’s math education. He started going twice a week and his math grade soared from D to A. He dropped off to attending sessions on an as-needed basis. After my son became a successful honors math student, he scheduled tutoring sessions to prepare for ACT and SAT. The sessions gave him the confidence he needed to succeed.

Jeremy and his staff know how to get the best out of kids. their patient and very fitting and inventive ways to teach kids is really what I find extraordinary. Some of the teachers also engage on other topics that the student may be studying just as a sidenote providing a little extra color to whatever they’re working on Mr. Kelso is A fantastic teacher and I’m so glad that it’s worked out for the two of them to work together most frequently. Kelso totally “gets” my kid and knows how to motivate him which is what you want from a tutor

Our children have been coming here for only a short period of time but they look forward to it every time. Some times requesting we fit in another visit if they have sports that will take them away from their Mathnasium days! Some of their friends have been at this location for years and really enjoy it and I imagine it will be the same for my children.

Most of the Instructors are patient and great. Our son really enjoys going to Mathnasium and he really likes solving problems and math at school much better now.
Jeremy does a great job with communication and leadership, we do the remote platform and he has helped us with smoothing out the in -center-to-remote transition. We feel like our son has confident math skills now and a strong foundation to build upon.

I appreciate how Mathnasium handled the positive COVID test of one of its instructors. It's been 13 days since my daughter was in the center, and we've all been symptom-free, which I attribute to the safety precautions taken by the Center: everyone wears face masks, no touch, not even shared pencils. The safety measures seem to be working!

We've had such a great experience with Mathnasium. My son's confidence and grades in higher level math have risen from low to high, and the transformation happened rather quickly. For a semester he attended Mathnasium sessions 3 times a week to pass Algebra 2, and he pulled his grade up to an A. We scaled back to once a week (We continue through the summer months unless we are traveling) and he made As in both Honors Geometry and Honors Algebra 2. I sometimes wonder if he no longer needs to go to Mathnasium, but he wants to continue because it gives him confidence.
Jeremy is very client centered and it has been a pleasure to work with him. We appreciate his attention to detail, enthusiasm, and conscientiousness. It's clear that he loves what he does and takes his role seriously, with a measure of good humor. We get regular updates, which confirm that our son is succeeding in the program.

Both my children enjoy attending the sessions at Mathnasium as the environment is engaging and pleasant. The tutors are encouraging and attentive. Jeremy, the director, is easy to talk to and is receptive to individualized programming for each child. The children are developing more confidence in math as a result.

Jeremy is incredibly adept at making a student understand concepts that they normally find difficult. We have learned so much about where’s my sons strengths and weaknesses are. Jeremy also makes it fun for the kids. Which helps break any tension the kids might be feeling. should have done this years ago.

Mathnasium saved my son’s math grade (Algebra 1 at Ridgeview Middle) and helped him stay afloat throughout his first year in high school. He enjoys going and it boosts his confidence. From the time he started attending Mathnasium (at first three times a week, now only once a week), he transformed himself from a struggling math student to one with a high A.

I can’t say enough about this place! From day one I was very impressed with Jeremy and his staff. From the evaluation and explaining what my kids strengths and weaknesses are ... they have all been so encouraging and motivating to my 2 boys. They have modified one of my son’s plan as they noticed there was an issue - so they really take the time and effort to make sure each kid is learning and getting the math and not just pushing papers. My kids get so excited to go to Math and my one son who was really struggling in math before he started - is now enjoying math!

Mathnasium has given my son newfound confidence in math. He has developed an understanding that has advanced his math grades from one of the lowest to one of the highest in his class. It is a good fit for us. He does not have to take anything home or bring anything to Mathnasium. Everything stays there in a binder that he works through for an hour each time. For the second half of algebra 1, he went three times a week, but he has been so successful in honors geometry that he now goes to Mathnasium only once a week.

I am very happy that we found Mathnasium and is right in our neighborhood. My son loves to go there and he finally gets math! In school he is the best in his class now and I am very proud of him. Jeremy was a great help to convince my son to try studying at Mathnasium. Everyone is honest and friendly! We already referred 2 kids of our friends to Mathnasium and they are also very happy!

I was impressed as soon as I spoke with Jeremy, who is so dedicated to teaching and making math approachable and fun. Evan’s confidence has really increased in the months he’s been at Mathnasium. I love the format, including the small groups and brain breaks.
The instructors are great, too. It’s a perfect balance between interaction and independent work time.

Mathnasium has rebuilt my son's confidence in math. He has evolved from being a struggling average performer in Accelerated Algebra I to having an A+ in Honors Geometry. As a middle school student, he participated three times a week. As a busy high school athlete, he has scaled back to only once a week and wants to continue going indefinitely despite his 100+ average. He likes that the tutors cover the learning gaps identified through their regular assessments but they also take the time to go over any confusing concepts covered in math class that week.
What I like about Mathnasium as a parent:
- No need for appointments, just as long as you arrive an hour before closing.
- I love that he seems so much more confident and his grades have risen dramatically.
- The tutors are talented, well trained, and plentiful.
- No Mathnasium homework - that set-up would not have worked for us!
- Nothing to remember to bring, except maybe a study guide or homework problem that is nagging at him. Everything is right there in the Mathnasium location, in a binder that stays in its place.
- It's an hour of time that I know he is focusing on his math work, minus the distractions of the Internet/social media.
- I get an hour to run errands or work, without worrying about my son doing his homework.

Jeremy designed a plan for my son, who has struggled with math for several years, based on his assessment. The assessment indicates that as he’s been accelerated, he’s missed key concepts, all of which Mathnasium tutors are covering with him. We’ve made it a priority to go to Mathnasium 3 times a week most weeks. My son has regained confidence and raised his grade in Algebra 1.

Luke loves math at Mathnasium and seems to really want to go to mathnasium every chance he gets. He thinks the teachers are "really cool". He relates well to the guys teaching there. Talks about Star Wars Math. And Einstein. And chess there.
All is going great!! We are thrilled with the fact that his brain is being exercised every weekend through summer.
Looking forward to see how this translates at school. He is definitely more confident and happy now and knows he's becoming "smarter".
