Ashley Johnson, Center Director
Ashley is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Santa Cruz. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Environmental Studies, and has been working with kids since she was in high school. Ashley grew up as a Santa Cruz local, and also spent several years living in Honduras. She enjoys working with kids of all ages, and loves giving back to the community she grew up in.
Leila is a student at UC Santa Cruz studying Computer Science. She is from the Bay Area where she worked as a math tutor all throughout her high school career. After attaining her bachelors, she plans on going to graduate school to pursue a masters in education, in hopes of becoming a high school math teacher.
Matthew is studying pure mathematics at UC Santa Cruz, where he will be a graduate student during the 2020-2021 academic year. He is from the Davis area, where he had his first tutoring experience as a junior in high school. Since then, he has worked as a private tutor as well as a small group tutor for UCSC’s Learning Support Services (LSS).
