Shane Bland, Center Director
Shane has a passion for education, teaching, and seeing children learn, grow, and excel. Shane keeps a busy schedule at Mathnasium as well as being the Instructor/Choreographer at Young at Arts and being on the staff at Eliza Corwin Frost in Bronxville. There is no better person who understands a child's learning and developmental needs from birth through graduation than our very own Mr. Shane! As a former Broadway performer (Show Boat, Disney The Lion King, Bombay Dreams) Shane knows how important it is to be both physically and mentally strong. Having a strong educational foundation is paramount to success in all areas of life and our aim is to provide that foundation to each and every one of our “Mathletes.” As a creative person, Shane feels that the Mathnasium Method provides the best way for students to think outside the box and learn using their own thought-process and imagination. He is excited to see each and every one of our students reach for and attain their personal best and is here to cheer them on every step of the way. In his down time Shane enjoys Bikram Yoga, running, cooking, anything Disney, and going on magical adventures with his daughters Graysen and Sayler, his son Chanse, and his wife, Dayle.
