As always, your child’s well-being is our top priority. The decision to re-open was made carefully, and plans and protocols were developed in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
In the interest of everyone’s safety, we are limiting the number of students that can attend the center at any one time so that we can observe social distancing guidelines.
As such, in-center sessions will need to be scheduled through Apptoto, our online scheduling tool— this means that
walk-in sessions will be temporarily suspended.
As part of these safety precautions, the parent waiting area will be closed until further notice. Before each session, we ask that parents walk their child to the entrance, where their temperature will be taken. After each session, an instructor will accompany your child outside to meet you upon arrival, maintaining social distancing rules.
We are also implementing a comprehensive disinfection and protection protocol to make sure that all surfaces are clean and disinfected. Additionally, our center will take extra precautions such as having hand sanitizer and tissues at every table, disinfecting each binder after every session, and more.
Our new safety guidelines will require every student who attends our center to
- Have a liability waiver signed by parent or guardian (Click here to access waiver).
- Have their temperature checked before entering.
- Wear a face mask while in the center.
- Wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival and before they leave.
- Cooperate with social distancing rules.
Additionally, we have attached a
document that further explains our procedures. The safety of your children and your family is our top priority. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns regarding our COVID-19 safety protocol.
We’re so glad that you’re a part of our Mathnasium community and are looking forward to seeing you soon, either online or in person. If you would like your child to return to in-center sessions, please let us know as soon as possible.
