Mathnasium of Sherwood Welcomes Students Back for a Great In-Center Learning Experience!

Jun 9, 2020 | Sherwood

We are very excited to share that we are gearing up to open under CDC, state, and local guidelines, which have been established to keep our students, their families, and our staff safe and healthy. Our newly cleaned and remodeled center will re-open for in-person instruction on Monday, June 15th, as we kick off our Mathnasium Summer Programs and start our new summer hours.

We have modified procedures to protect the health and safety of our Mathnasium students and their families and our staff. We are excited to welcome both our current and new students back into the center!

Students will have the option to return to the center for in-person instruction, continue online instruction with Mathnasium@home, or opt for a hybrid program. Families may choose whichever learning option works best for their student.

As always, your child’s well-being is our top priority! Here is an overview of the modifications to our center and procedures that we have implemented.

Managed Capacity and Physical Distancing in the Center

·       Student sessions will be on an appointment basis only. Sessions will be scheduled through the Appointy app, which can be accessed through the Schedules tab on our website.

·       For safety, we ask that all sessions begin and end on time and that students follow social distancing as they enter, move about, and leave the center.

·       All games and activities will be completed at the student workstation.

Parent / Guardian Flow in the Center

·       The Parent Waiting Area is temporarily closed.

·       Students should enter the center through the back door. Students should wait in their cars until an instructor opens the door and signals for them to enter.

·       Students will exit through the front door of the center. Students will stay inside until there is confirmation it is safe to exit and meet you outside of the center.

·       Parent Conferences are always welcome, but will be conducted by appointment over the phone or through the Mathnasium@home platform. We will use screen sharing to go over any reports.
