Assistant Center Director

Looking for an energetic, passionate and capable person with strong leadership qualities. This is a part-time position which requires a minimum of 20 hours/week commitment during weekdays (Mon - Thu), and at least one day during the weekend. Ideal candidates would be former teachers, graduates of child development programs, and/or people with experience managing programs and staff. Applicants should be minimally proficient in math, at least up to Pre-Algebra level.

Primary Responsibilities:         

  • Provide main support to the Center Director in ensuring center runs smoothly.
  • Communicate student progress, instructional issues or other information to Center Director
  • Elaborate on program details and benefits to potential customers, and follow up to ensure conversion.
  • Gather feedback from parents and report to Center Director.
  • Ensure that the center maintains a comfortable environment for instructors, students and parents.
  • Manage staff schedules, new and ongoing employee training, employee vacations and availability, and appointment system updates based on staff availability.
  • Supervise and manage instructors in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage day-to-day processing of Accounts Receivable, and report to Center Director on a monthly basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:         

  • A Bachelor degree and/or relevant professional certification.
  • Ability to show proficiency in math up to Pre-Algebra level.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Enthusiastic and confident personality

Preferred Qualifications:       

  • Background in child development or childhood education
  • At least one year of previous teaching experience or other experience working with students.

Lead Instructor

Looking for an energetic, passionate and capable math tutor who has strong leadership qualities. Applicants should fulfill all of the Required Qualifications listed for our Instructor position. In addition, candidates should be available to work  at least 3 days during the hours of 3pm - 8pm on weekdays (Mon- Thu) and at least one day during the weekend during the hours of 10am-1pm. 

First preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching/tutoring experience. Paid Training will be provided in the Mathnasium Method for effective teaching practices. This position is not for high school students. Colleges students or higher may apply.

Instructor

Looking for energetic, passionate and capable math tutors to work at Mathnasium of Silvercreek. We offer rewarding part-time work in the Evergreen/ Silver Creek area with flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends). Applicants for the Instructor role should enjoy teaching math, and be able to motivate students to succeed.  Ideal candidates include high school math teachers, college math, science and engineering majors.  Join our team of talented instructors and make a difference in a child’s life by passing on a love of math!  

Required Qualifications:         

  • Exceptional math skills through Algebra and Geometry
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with students/parents
  • Enthusiastic and confident personality  

Preferred Qualifications:       

  • Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses
  • Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students

Hours may vary, but typically include mid-afternoon through early evening hours (Monday – Thursday and Saturday/Sunday mornings).
