Keagan Kress

I am currently a senior at Roosevelt High School but next year I will be attending Colorado State University. I love all types of animals, which is why I would like to be a veterinarian! My hobbies are playing trombone, going to the lake, and spending time with my family and friends! Favorite Number: 23 Favorite Math Joke: Are monsters good at math? (Not unless your Count Dracula!) Laine Mannes

Instructor
Outside of Mathnasium, Laine is involved student at Lincoln High School. She plays marimba in marching band, runs hurdles during track season, and is a confounder of the LHS knitting club. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and playing with her dog. Favorite Number: 6.022 X 10^23 Favorite Math Joke: What are 10 things you can count on? (Your fingers!) Fun Fact About Me: I have read all of the Harry Potter books (except the Chamber of Secrets) at least 6 times! I love Mathnasium because...There is such a rewarding feeling when a student understand a concept. Plus, all of the Instructors are amazing!

Lauren Meyer

I attend O'Gorman High School. Math is my favorite subject, and always has been. I have four brothers and a dog. I like to spend my downtime listening to music, going on runs, hanging out with my friends, and reading. Favorite Number: 7 Favorite Math Joke: Why did Pi get it's drivers license revoked? (Because it didn't know when to stop!) Favorite Fact About Me: I am a student at Mathnasium, as well as an Instructor I love Mathnasium because...I love being able to interact with the students. It makes my day listening to their stories while I help them understand something they may be struggling with in math.

Mike Paul

Lead Instructor
Mike was a Geodesist in the US Air Force and is an artist. Outside of Mathnasium, Mike likes to ride his bike, hike, and painting and drawing. He also really enjoys traveling with his wife, Karen. Mike currently has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Art History. He also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing, and a Masters in Geodesy. Favorite Number: 4 Favorite Math Joke: Do you know what seems odd to me? (Numbers that are divisible by 2!) Fun Fact About Me: My daughter is an Air Force pilot, and my son is a drummer with the Marine Corps. band. I love Mathnasium because...I take great satisfaction in seeing a student's struggling with math, turn it around to become proficient, and watching their confidence grow!

Rebekah Warmbrand

I was homeschooled K-12 and then earned my Bachelors of Early Childhood Education and Development. I currently work at Sioux Falls Christian as a Middle School Education Assistant and have prior experience teaching. I have always enjoyed working with kids and helping them learn and grow. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, reading, doing puzzles, and cooking and baking. I enjoy solving math problems because its like solving a puzzle! Favorite Number: 271 Favorite Math Joke: There are 3 kinds of people - those who can count and those who can't. Fun Fact About Me: I lived overseas for a year. I love Mathnasium because...I enjoy making relationships with the kids while helping them to see what they are capable of!

I am a Junior at Lincoln High School and am the captain of the Lincoln soccer team. I am in student council and NHS and play the viola for our school's orchestra. Favorite Number: 13 Favorite Math Joke: I got in trouble the other day for doing my math homework and drinking my soda. My teacher told me "no drinking and deriving!" Fun Fact About Me: I am a vegetarian and have never tried any meat in my entire life. I love Mathnasium because...I love working with children. It lets me feel like I am still in Elementary school!
