Math help at home online with Mathnasium

We have lauched Mathnasium @ Home, featuring the same personalized math help students receive in-center. All of our instruction is happening online LIVE, with real-time feedback on your student's custom learning plan and their homework if needed via Zoom!
To get your student started, check your email for instructions on how to set up your computer for your student. If you have any questions, please email us at spokanesouth@mathnasium.com.
If your student needs help with homework, please email a copy or picture of their homework to our @ Home program email: onlinepost@mathnasium.com. Once received, we will add their homework to their online folder, so they can work on it in their next session!

Expensive, but a great place for kids to go if the parents don’t spend any time doing math with them at home. It’s just math sheets; practice practice practice. No memorizing, which is why I might be pulling my child out. I think memorizing addition and subtraction from first years in school is extremely important for a child’s loving or hating math from elementary through high school. But the people and incentives are amazing at Mathnasium. Just wish they would also focus on memorizing, rather than paper after paper of practice.

The math tutors are kind, caring, and really know their stuff. They also know how to relate to young people. They make the sessions fun! I have nothing but good things to say about Mathnasium! We’ve had a great experience at Mathnasium! Our boys love it - they’re learning but in a fun way and they’re highly motivated by the stars/cards system to earn rewards. “Can we go to Mathnasium today?” is often heard in our house. Mom and Dad like the various options for payment based on how busy we are in other kid activities and how much we can get them there.

Mathnasium has turned my daughter’s attitude about math around. She dreaded math time or worksheets but I feel like Mathnasium has given her confidence to do her work. She went from arguing with me about going to Mathnasium to being totally fine and prepared to get there on time. She enjoys the instructors and feels comfortable spending time there and learning. I am so thankful she has an environment that allows her to improve her math skills.

I enrolled my daughter in Mathnasium because she was far behind in her math skills and was feeling very inadequate and frustrated. Almost instantly she started to grasp the concepts being taught and started to enjoy her tutor sessions. After having her in your program for three years her math scores have gone from near flunking to straight “A’s” and she is now enjoying her math. Cant thank you guys enough. Thank You!

My son has been at Mathnasium for well over a year now. In addition to working on skills as identified by Mathnasium's evaluation, he can bring homework and school assignments to his online sessions and they not only help him get them done, but they are done correctly! And, the best part is, the teachers are mostly college students who relate so well to my son. Even though I am a teacher, my son and I don't work well together on schoolwork. Belonging to Mathnasium has been a blessing to our family. I highly recommend them!

I recommend Mathnasium for students who struggle as well as students who are good at math. Our kiddo has always liked math so this program is building even a stronger foundation. He took a math test in the public school system and we revieved a letter saying he scored in the top percentile nationally and was considered gifted in math. I'm sure mathnasium was a part of that result.
Jerry Post, the owner is great to work with and customizes the instructors with the personalities of the kids. I also saw success when I helped my highschool relative attend. She had been struggling in her math class not understanding things. Mathnasium really made a difference.

We have been members of Mathnasium for over a year now. My son has sessions twice a week. He is still saying, after all this time, every time when his session is over, "That was so fun!" His teachers are awesome! In addition to know their "stuff" about math, they know how to relate to my 14-year old. It's all priceless! We are very grateful to be at Mathnasium! I HIGHLY recommend them!

First of all, everyone here is so amazing....nice and helpful. They provide learning plans specific to each child. We’ve had a kiddo who is bored with school and this offered him to learn concepts beyond what was being taught in his classroom. We’ve also had a kiddo who needed to fill some learning gaps. Plus my kids really enjoyed coming, there were never any complaints!

Seen a huge turnaround with our son, he worked hard all summer long, now math is easy as he has confidence. During the initial COVID school issues, Mathanisum stepped up and had a better platform for one on one instruction than anything else we used with the school system. I wish there was a ‘readanisum’

Our son has attended Mathnasium for a year and his improvement in confidence and overall numeracy is obvious. We were fortunate to have been enrolled in the program when school let out last March in response to the pandemic. Mathnasium provided a continuation of academic structure throughout the remainder of the school year and through the summer. He has transitioned more easily to online learning as a result of the practice he had with the Mathnasium online program. Our son enjoys relationships with great people that are invested in the success of the program as well as his own.
We are very pleased with our investment and know that our son will reap the rewards for a lifetime.

My 8 year old daughter has been attending Mathnasium since shortly after it opened in Spokane. She attends a daily online session for an hour, and she loves it.
She's well above her grade level academically, which is particularly important during the COVID shutdown, as schools struggle to migrate their curriculum and instruction online. A lot of kids (and families) are having a tough time adapting during these difficult times.
Mathnasium offers peace-of-mind that the math portion is handled, and that kids are learning in a fun environment. To me, that's invaluable.

I am working with my son Heroshi (student) on this evaluation. Hero likes the one-on-one teaching experience, and thinks it is very effective. Hero actually is having fun learning Math! Each instructor brings different teaching methods to their respective class, which is helping increase Hero's analytical abilities. Hero becomes more confident each day, as his understanding of basic and more complex math concepts increases with every class. The ability to ask questions and get an immediate response is especially helpful. Hero says the instructors are nice, and also funny lol. My son knows that getting to the level of expertise he desires will take time and effort, and he is excited about that journey. I could not have said it better myself. Thanks for the folks at Mathnasium for a wonderful experience!

Great instructors using positive reinforcement as well as ability to keep student on task and fully engaged. My student has really missed the on site classes and we are trying to determine how to move forward with a mix between on line and on site classes. Student finally feels he is succeeding at catching up to grade level year end knowledge in math and would like to move forward into 7th grade areas ahead of the start of school...a far cry from our starting point with him with his attitude. Nothing but good feelings toward Mathnasium South and their teaching methods and instructors.

My daughter attends an hour-long Mathnasium session Monday through Friday, and she really enjoys it.
The team at Mathnasium does an excellent job engaging kids... and keeping their interest up. They were also incredibly quick to respond to the COVID pandemic, and built an online learning platform and retrained their entire staff to teach online lessons, all within a couple weeks.
I highly recommend Mathnasium.

Our grandson Jackson enjoys his sessions and feels supported during this strange time. The point incentive is important to him. He is glad that he is not tempted to just grab candy on the way out the door but is looking forward to what he may earn when the time arrives.
We look forward to the emails with the progress reports. He is not feeling supported through his school per say but more through Mathnasium.
When asked why he likes it the response is "It's fun"!

My 7th grade son has been using Mathnasium since Fall 2019. He loves it! The teachers are amazing! They "get" kids and what they need. After every session my son says what a great time he has! My 15 year old daughter asked for math help, but still had a very bad attitude about it. At first, I had to push her to go. She now goes 3 times a week (at least), doesn’t argue, and admitted the other day that while math will never be her favorite subject (she said she doesn’t see the point), the tutoring is helping a lot. I don’t see her as overwhelmed, and I think she appreciates that the tutors are really patient. She doesn’t feel judged (she still judges herself for all the math she doesn’t understand), but that’s not because of the tutors. They have been really great with her. This is money well spent and I wish I’d started it sooner. But she wasn’t ready to be receptive to help. Thank you for making this all easier.

My son loves mathnasium. He is in 4th grade right now. He is been going for about an year. We have seen a lot of progress in him since then. Also, less stress/work to parents. We don’t have to learn to teach him/kids. Staff/instructors and atmosphere at mathnasium are very accommodating and nice. I would strongly recommend mathnasium as a parent.

My son has been struggling in math for several years now, in spite of having a weekly tutor. A friend told us about Mathnasium and how much her son had improved from going there. Also, that you could go every day if you wanted to!
I made an appointment for my son to be assessed. The assessment showed he is two years behind in math. The awesome folks at Mathnasium set up a Learning Plan for him.
He absolutely LOVES going to Mathnasium. He loves the teachers and the incentive plan. Every time he leaves there he says, "That place is so awesome!"
I'm thrilled that he is excited to go work on his math! He is motivated and never argues when it's time to go to Mathnasium.
I'm so grateful to that mom who told me about Mathnasium! I highly recommend it!

My 12 yo really noticed a difference from his peers in starting Middle school in the fall as he did MathNasium all summer. He noticed a big difference in his math retention from the prior school year when he hadn’t done math in the summer. My 10 yo has a new confidence in his math abilities and is helping peers at school. He felt proud when he did well on a placement test and is now being given more challenging work at school. We can’t recommend MathNasium enough.

Without trying to be too dramatic, Mathnasium is academically life changing! We went from daily battles and tears to a new found confidence and being able to stand on her own feet! When our daughter leaves her work station and tutors, she has a light in her eyes, a smile on her face, and a joy that we haven’t seen in a long time! We are so grateful for the positive, supportive staff and the confidence and competence Mathnasium has given her! Not only do we see the difference in her capability to calculate and solve problems, but her teachers do too.
