Miss Susan

Instructor

Dylan Bilka

Regional Director of Operations
Dylan has a background in Civil engineering with a focus and Transportation Operations and Construction Project Management at The Pennsylvania State University. He started as a part-time instructor in late 2016, but fell in love with the Mathnasium program, and making a real difference in his student's experience in math. Though Dylan’s background is in engineering, he has always loved working with children and has done a lot of volunteer work for neighboring middle schools in the State College area with the rest of his track team. His favorite part about teaching students is changing his approach based on the students’ interests and loves to see the “light bulb” turn on in a students’ head once they finally understand a difficult concept. He is a very high-energy teacher, and enjoys making Mathnasium a fun environment for all current, and future students!

Rachel German

Owner
Rachel’s love of mathematics and teaching children prompted her to open a Mathnasium Learning Center. To be able to teach math to kids in “a way that makes sense to them” is a dream come true! Rachel pursued studies in Mathematics and Chemistry in undergraduate school and Applied Mathematics in graduate school. She has taught math at every level of the education spectrum; from elementary to middle and high school, as well as on the collegiate level. Aside from her love of math, she enjoys spending time with her 3 beautiful children; Rylan, Cameron, and Ashley. Other passions outside of teaching include running and coaching basketball. Rachel stated, “I look forward to sharing the Mathnasium Method with this community and I am excited to see your child’s confidence soar as they learn and discover how fun math can be!”

Sanjna

Instructor
Hi! My name is Sanjna and I’m a student at the University of Pittsburgh. When I was younger, I used to cry about my math homework and fight against doing it as much as possible until I finally discovered its secrets. After that, I began to love solving math problems and realized how much I could use it in my life. I joined Mathnasium in 2019 so that I could help others learn the secrets of math and begin to love it as much as I do!

Archana

Instructor
Hi, my name is Archana. I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Rehabilitation Science. I enjoy helping others and giving back to my community. Working at Mathnasium allows me to engage with kids and help them improve their math skills.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
