Heidy Laboy

Instructor
Heidy graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor and Masters of Mechanical Engineering. She has been working in the Information Technology (IT) in the government and commercial fields. In her experience she noticed that the path to the future is IT including computer programing. All of the skills needed in this new world of IT requires mathematics as a basis. She always loved learning mathematics concepts and applied skills to real world situations. She is excited to bestow this knowledge to the students at Mathnasium.

Costas Tzoumas

Instructor
Costas is a sophomore at George Mason University and is majoring in Statistics. He has a passion for analytics and how they impact the world, with a particular interest in Sports Data Analytics. He has been a Mathnasium tutor since 2020. He enjoys making an impact in the community through teaching math and coaching youth sports.

Taylor Levitas

Instructor
Taylor is a junior attending South Lakes High School in Reston, VA, pursuing the IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma. She has been very passionate about mathematics since early elementary school, demonstrating mastery from the earliest levels of math through Calculus. At her school, she is a member of the Math Honor Society, in which she has spent over 20 hours tutoring students at her school: 9th-12th grade. She is also President of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), a member of the Science Honor Society and in the National Honor Society. Taylor is passionate about tutoring in math because she believes that math is a crucial, worldwide language; she believes that math is how we're going to expand our worldly and universal searches and discoveries. On that note, Taylor wants to study astrophysics and applied mathematics at college. Outside of school, Taylor plays soccer, and enjoys painting and drawing.

Jacob Greenlee

Remote Instructor
Jacob is a rising junior at William and Mary and has been tutoring a variety of topics since high school. He became a Mathnasium tutor two years ago and immensely enjoys helping out students of all ages. He loves to see them improve through hard work and believes patience and empathy are the keys to teaching. He looks forward to teaching more students and practicing with them in a fun way.

Kevin Price

Remote Instructor
Kevin Price graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 with a B.S. degree in Microbiology, during which he worked in a lab building a gene editing device called a nanoinjector. During his education at Potomac Falls High School, he took AP Calculus and enjoyed learning advanced math; he also took several mathematical physics classes in college. After graduating, he performed an internship in Leesburg at a data science company: Mosaic, ATM. In his free time, he designed a mathematical computer model to emulate the Coriolis force on a virtual artificial gravity space station to educate others more about what life would be like in space. He enjoys walking, reading, sightseeing, and anything to do with Italy.
