NEW OWNER OF MATHNASIUM OF SUDBURY EXCITED
TO TRANSFORM CHILDREN’S LIVES

Math-Only Learning Center Operates on Belief That Any Child Can Excel at Math

Sudbury, September-2021 There’s a fresh face at Mathnasium of Sudbury. New center owner, Susri Anuradha is eager to bring fun and effective supplementary math programs to community children in grades K through 12. Ms. Anuradha holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering and an M.S. in Information Management Systems from Harvard University. After a rewarding career in Information Technology, Ms. Anuradha started with Mathnasium of Acton/Concord in 2015 and further expanded to Mathnasium Burlington/Lexington in 2017 to follow her dream of "Making Math Make Sense to the kids". As her colleague and previous owner Ms. Joanne Meyer was ready to retire, she took this opportunity to further expand and took over the operations of Mathnasium Sudbury. As a mother of two children, past PTO board member and over 10 years of experience with education, she understands the emphasis on education that the local community has. Having first-hand experience in various mathematical teaching approaches, Ms. Anuradha is very familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of the traditional approach vs. the modern explorative approach.

I love to see kids getting empowered by the gift of education. I love seeing a shy kid step up and give interview for a TV channel. It gives me immense pleasure in nurturing the young minds and seeing them grow strong and confident said Ms. Anuradha.

The math-only learning center at 383 Boston Post Road, Sudbury fills in knowledge gaps, keeps students caught up in school, and makes learning math fun. Using the Mathnasium Method™, knowledgeable instructors teach face-to-face, providing the attention and support children need. A unique combination of mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written techniques ensures that any child can learn to excel at math.

We don’t rely on memorization or drilling. Mathnasium students receive the true foundational understanding they need to build number sense — an intuitive understanding of how numbers work,” said Ms. Anuradha. “And while we help struggling students develop into ‘A’ students, we also help ‘A’ students go on to even greater achievements. The transformation in these children extends beyond the math classroom; they gain the confidence to take on the world. As educators, we’re thrilled to be able to have this impact.”
