Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Chris F

Assistant Center Director
Chris graduated from Palomar College with his Associate’s Degree in Mathematics. Math was his least favorite subject throughout middle and high school and knows how frustrating and impossible it can seem at times. He learned math to formulate winning strategies for games and now appreciates the subtleties math has to offer. Chris hopes to bridge the gap between tutoring and become a teacher one day.

Charles R

Instructor
Charles has degrees in Math and Economics from UCSD. Math has always come naturally to Charles which is why it is no surprise that he is a fantastic tutor. He enjoys the interaction with children because they have bright and eager personalities and he wants to show the students that math can be fun.

Casey C

Instructor
Casey has an Associate's Degree in Math from MSJC, and is currently in school working towards an accounting certificate. Math came easy for Casey, and so she loves helping others for whom it can be a struggle. Casey enjoys art, and spending time with friends and family.

Matthew E

@Home Instructor
Matthew has a Math degree from UCR. He enjoys how math impacts our daily lives, from calculating grocery totals, to solving the next puzzle in an escape room, math is a useful tool when in a pinch. A San Diego native, Matthew likes Mexican food and cheering for the Padres. He one day hopes to become a math teacher and strengthen others' minds through numbers.

Chrislie P

@Home Instructor
Chrislie has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychobiology and also in Spanish from UCLA. She has been a tutor for a number of years and enjoys helping students reach their full academic potential. Her favorite thing about tutoring math is seeing students realize that it is applicable to everyday life. Chrislie likes to go to theme parks and explore what Southern California has to offer.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
