Garrett Hopkins

Math Instrustor
I’m a Physics major at USF, and spend most of my free time playing videogames. I’ve always been an observant person, spotting patterns or quirks in things. My favorite/lucky number is 7, and my favorite pneumonic phrase for math is “8 and 8 went to the store to buy a Nintendo 64”, a way of remembering 8x8=64.

My Math Sense of Humor: Why were police looking for 2? They were the prime suspect! My favorite number is 11 because I was born on the 11th day of October. I love Mathnasium because it provides a great learning environment for students who need help in math and is an awesome place to work. In 5 years, I hope to be attending Medical School in order to eventually become a pathologist or an anesthesiologist.

Wesley Griffith

Math Instructor
I’m a freshman at the University of South Florida currently majoring in Biomedical Sciences. Some hobbies I like doing are playing the piano and watching good movies. In high school I learned to appreciate and enjoy doing math, and I love helping others with it! Favorite Math Joke: I hate arguing with 90 degree angles. They’re always right! Favorite Number: The number 12, because I always have liked it since I was a kid.

Jessica Keller

Assistant Center Director
I love Mathnasium because it makes math make sense! My favorite number if 5 "if man is five..." My favorite math joke- Which monster loves math most? Count Dracula because he's a vamπre!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
