Virtual Mathnasium Math Nights

Oct 14, 2021 | Chester

A Mathnasium Math Night helps kids explore math at their own level through exciting games and activities for families that have been developed by Mathnasium in conjunction with National PTA (tested and approved by kids and parents too)! Virtual Math Nights achieve the same thing, but all from the comfort of your own home!

We provide all of the games, volunteer training, and fun -- all you have to do is provide the volunteers and promote the event!

What are Virtual Math Nights?

  • A virtual math event hosted jointly by Mathnasium and local parent groups, community groups, or schools for K-5th grade students

  • An opportunity to involve families in a fun, enjoyable shared math experience

  • Easy programming -- Mathnasium provides all games and training for turn-key execution

  • Encouragement and empowerment for kids of all backgrounds to pursue a love of math and STEM education

  • Math exploration for kids at their own levels through games and activities

How Does a Virtual Math Night Work?

Students and their families are invited to join us virtually for 1-2 hours of math games. After logging in to the virtual platform, families will be assigned to a breakout room with 6-8 other participants. Volunteers will rotate through the breakout rooms, hosting the math games and engaging with families. At the end of the event, all participants will be invited back to the main lobby for any announcements and goodbyes!
