VIPS Appreciation Event 2016

Thank you to all of the volunteers that support Cy-Fair ISD schools and our children. It was our pleasure to attend the VIPS Appreciation Event today. Mathnasium of Cy-Fair would like to personally thank each one of you for the contributions that you've made for CFISD students. We feel privileged to serve along with you in this community. I’ve put two of my children through Mathnasium. My son was there most recently and he absolutely LOVED the program and more so the instructors. Having been an A student in Math for most of his life, his struggle began post Covid. He’d cry because his grades weren’t what they used to be. At the end of 5th grade , we learned that even though he was making A’s again, his first grades were going to keep him from Klevel Math. However, when his STAAR results came in , we were ecstatic to learn that he mastered the Math part of the test which got him into Klevel Math. Thank you Mathnasium!!!! This program corrected his struggles and prepared him fully for Staar. We couldn’t be happier. This program is worth every cent.

My grand daughter gets it at Mathnasium. From the first day she went there the first thing she said was that it made sense. She looks forward to going to her weekly sessions and really likes her instructors. She said they are very nice and patient. And I appreciate receiving the daily reminders and the milestones accomplished. I am more than pleased to have found Mathnasium and am happy with the progress my granddaughter is making. Our boys 15 and 12 have been going to Mathnasium for the past 3 years over the summer and it has been awesome. They are so much more prepared for the upcoming school year. The instructors are very excellent! My 15 yo has had the same instructor since he started and that has worked out very well for him.

My daughter’s confidence in math has increased significantly since she started with Mathnasium. She loves her tutors and the reward system they have in place is also a big motivator. As a parent, I love all the feedback I get regarding what she’s been working on and how she did. Mathnasium has relieved a lot of the stress we were having as a family. It was hard finding the time to constantly help her with some of the math skills she was having trouble with.

Both of my sons had been with Mathnasium Cyfair since the first year when it opened. Mathnasium have been the best of the best Math tutor for my sons based on our experienced with other company like Sylvian, Kumon,,,etc. in term of academic and cost effective for learning. Most important, Mrs. Cathy and her husband care about the students education improvement instead of profit as their priority.

I have seen major improvements in my daughters ability to do math. It went from her worst subject to her best and she looks forward to going to Mathnasium. Even in the hardest times with paycuts we are budgeting to keep this going because not only has it improved her grade it improved her confidence and there is not a price I would not pay to see that.

My son has been struggling in math since the second grade, much of it due with the curriculum of our school district. After a difficult and discouraging teacher conference before spring break I went on a hunt to help my son with math. One of my gym/yoga instructors told me about Mathnisum and how incredibly helpful they were for her son. We had my sons assessment and from the moment we met Cathy she patiently walked myself and son through the process and then spent personal one on one time with my child to get an idea of where he was at in math so they could get him where he needed to be in his school’s curriculum. Who knew in that within a few short days from our meeting a global pandemic would occur and change everything. However, Cathy and her team flew into gear, and were very knowledgeable of the constant changes taking place on a rapid scale. They adjusted how they would instruct and quickly set up online tutoring sessions which we have been in for the past two weeks. They have been different instructors each time and each tremendous! They have been able to do everything that was planned as if we came onsite to them. My son is quiet and shy and has come to be very comfortable with working with all the instructors. They are patient, kind, helpful, encouraging and have a way of constructively helping him when he makes mistakes. I like that they have started him off slowly which is helping him to build his confidence and work on skills he never really established well. He looks forward to his sessions online and he is very willing to participate now more than even before when we first began.
I am truly impressed with Cathy and her team. They have done an outstanding job especially in the face of a global crisis. Keeping the children and staffs safety and health a priority and still making an extremely tricky situation work. So grateful to the whole Mathnisum team here in Cypress and very glad I made the call!

My daughter was struggling with math in 5th grade, I was so worried and I started researching, Mathnasium was the only place that really convinced me. She was so happy to go there and felt so comfortable to know that other students were helping her. She started blossoming right away! It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

My daughter is finally understanding math. She has a 95 in math on her report card ! Thank you for reaching my daughter and tutoring her in a way that allows her to draw a stronger connection to math. She struggled tremendously in math initially , now she says that math is "easy". My son is in 7th grade, he had trouble with his math homework. I signed up for an "emergency" session. Scheduling is fairly easy, Mathnasium made effort to work with my busy schedule. The location's parking is a little tricky. We were greeted by friendly staffs. My son loved the tutoring session. He said that the tutor explained the problem in a simple and "very genius" (quote my son's) way that he can understand better. We definitely will sign up for more future session with both my kids. Keep up good work!

Cathy, the owner, has a clear-eyed view of the company mission, and she works hard to assure their trainers are professional, knowledgeable and able to provide answers that are clear to my son, who has a learning disability. He doesn't like going anywhere where he might learn something, but he likes going to math - and frankly that's saying something. Obviously they're doing something right.
