Kris Thomson

Kris Thomson

Center Director
Kris is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Vista. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, Kris worked as a Territory Manager with Hi-Line, specializing in inventory control. Additionally, he worked many years in heavy industry as a fluid consultant. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta. Having enjoyed math as a child and adult, watching friends needlessly struggle with math has developed enthusiasm to help every child in North County to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. He is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community. Married with 2 young kids, he looks forward to helping your kids along with his own.

Boyce Hartsell

Assistant Center Director
Boyce is currently attending MiraCosta college and studying business administration with an emphasis in real estate. Boyce is a professional musician in North County, San Diego and is aspiring to play music professionally and become a real estate broker.

Cy Latimer

Instructor
Cy Latimer is our newest addition to our team here at Mathnasium of Vista! He is currently studying mechanical engineering and aspires to become a NASA Physicist. His favorite band is Pearl Jam and DMB. He enjoys fishing, fixing his truck, and restoring WWII era Norton motorcycles.

Georgia Jensen

Lead Instructor
Georgia is currently a junior at Mission Vista High School. She is currently taking AP Calculus and tutors physics on the side. She plays water polo for a local club at the Wave Waterpark.

Isabel Alon

Lead Instructor
Isabel is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at Palomar college, and plays for the women's soccer team. She intends to transfer to a 4-year university in the upcoming fall. She's interested in both psychology and mathematics, and is excited to see where it will take her! In her free time, Isabel likes to play piano, paint, and listen to music.

Bella Liu

Instructor
Bella is a student at Mission Vista High School on honor roll. She plans on going to college to study to become a journalist, but she has always liked math as well as writing! In her free time, Bella likes to read, play and listen to music, and watch sports and movies.

Selah Ivans

Instructor
Selah is an instructor here at Mathnasium. She absolutely adores teaching math and helping out the kids. She can't wait to help students understand and enjoy math as much as she does!

Lundon Salley

Instructor
My name is Lundon Salley and I am a senior at Mission Vista High School! I love STEM related classes like Engineering and Physics. I hope to earn a degree in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science, but for now, I enjoy passing on my knowlege in math to young minds at mathnasium!

Brendan Green

Instructor
Brendan Green has always loved working with numbers. He graduated UCI with a degree in Computer Science and is going back to school for a teaching credential in math. His hobbies include creative arts, games, and drumming for the family band.
