My child has been about 1.5-2 yr behind in yearly state math testing for 4 years with insufficent math instruction at her school. Due to this, and her inattention struggles, she went through a psychoeducational evaluation and was praised by the academic evaluator for understanding many of the mathematical concepts she was accessed in. Her teachers were shocked when she accredited her recent math comprehension to the 1st 2 weeks of math tutoring at mathnasium. She additionally reports feeling a huge increase in competence and confidence in her math skills. It has only been 1.5 months so we cannot wait to see what her next yearly state math testing reveals.

Our middle school and high school kids have been learning math at the Walnut Creek Mathnasium since last October. The instructors are nice and my kids always come home with a smile. They completed their homework and became more confident on the quizzes or tests at school. We also appreciate the directors who are always open and available to discuss any issues or concerns.

Mathnasium encourages my daughter to be enthusiastic about math through the methods that it utilizes to teach. She is excited to attend the sessions and feels accomplished after each one. The tutors have been extremely encouraging and are challenging her.

We are so thankful for Mathnasium! My son started to fall behind in Accelerated Math in middle school. He would always leave his math homework last on his to do list and dreaded math class. It would often take him hours to complete his assignments which interfered with other subjects too. It also took up a lot of our time to try and help him.
After starting Mathnasium this year, our son attends three days a week, online, and completes all his assignments in advance of class. It's nice to see him working ahead instead of always trying to catch up.
He is shy but speaking with the tutors has given him the skill to ask questions. When he works on his assignments and doesn't understand a concept, he now says he will ask his tutors at Mathnasium. We like that all the tutors are patient, nice and encouraging. They will often ask if he understands a question and ask him to show them that he understands. They also frequently check in and to see how he is doing.
He has received A's each quarter so far this year which has given him confidence. His teacher would display math questions and ask that each student respond, even if if they have to reply with "I don't know." My son is answering more of those questions which shows us that he is understanding the lessons and not falling behind. He also has more time for his other subjects and we no longer have to struggle trying to help with his homework.
We only have positive things to say about Mathnasium! Thank you!

My daughter Julia came to Mathnasium very behind in math. She didn't know her multiplication tables in 4th grade. After several months, she is now at the top of her 5th grade class in math. Thank you to Mathnasium for their wonderful program! Her confidence is sky high and she loves math now.

My son was struggling in Algebra, so we knew he needed extra help. His grade went up a full letter grade with-in one month of attending Mathnasium. It’s still a hard subject for him, but I know he feels more confident in his abilities. He also enjoys the tutors and I think it’s great that they are students themselves (high school and college age) which makes it more relatable to my teenager. We would definitely recommend Mathnasium to our friends.

Since my son Joshua has been attending the Walnut Creek location he has slowly been productive in his math skills. He praises the tutors on how nice they are and how helpful they are and that makes me happy. We also love Revati!!! Her positive attitude and encouragement is AMAZING!!! Not only is she amazing but she is a great listener and willing to give advice when you need it. Thank you Revati.
The only draw back I could only say is that Joshua complains that the noise level does get out of hand and its hard for him to concentrate.

I am very pleased and satisfied with the performance of my two (2) kids in their mathematics class after being nurtured and diligently tutored by the staff of this Mathnasium branch. This is the second year that both of my kids attended Mathnasium Summer ProframThey look forward to going to there Math Sessions. My son says, “ Jordan knows tricks that makes Math problems simpler.”

This is a great place for kids to learn math. The owner, Revathi, is very good with the kids and her staff is very patient and well trained. My son has learned a lot and it has helped him focus and understand mathematical concepts very well and did well on tests, homework etc. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants their kids to do well in math.

My 6th grade daughter's math grade went from C to A-. She had a difficult transition to junior high. She had some comprehension challenges with math problems and our teaching method at home got her more confused. Luckily we found Mathnasium. We were looking for someone who will help reinforce the school's math teaching, guide and work with her in her homework. Indulge her in more math problems without giving her more worksheets to take home on top of her homework. Mathnasium was the perfect match. She loves going to mathnasium. The instructors are great with kids. They work with her in a way she can comprehend the method, the mathnasium way. Thank you Mathnasium!!!

Mathnasium allows our 7 year old to learn at his pace, not the pace of the school classroom.
This has enabled him to push forward at a faster pace which in turn has sparked a real passion for mathematics.
He is now developing new personalized strategies for mathmatical problem.
His first algorithm (a simpler way to divide by 5): x = (n/10) * 2
We love Mathnasium!!!

The owners are instructors are very pleasant and caring. I feel my child is receiving the attention she needs. The only thing I would recommend changing is the reward system. Kids get an incentive to finish their work which is great. However I wish it can be something that is harder to achieve and not a candy. For example do well for a whole month or two and get a free movie ticket.
Besides candies, I woukd highly recommend Mathnasium to all my friends and families.

My 8th grader was frustrated each night to the point of tears after struggling with her math homework, and was convinced that she "just couldn't do math." After just one month at Mathnasium her grades have already improved and so has her confidence. She scored at the top of her class during an impromptu math exercise last week, and just yesterday she was happily explaining to me how to plot a linear equation.
The individual attention at Mathnasium is invaluable, and the flexibility is key - she can go as much as she needs to, at the hours that are convenient for her- no constant rescheduling to accommodate doctors appointments and after-school activities. Mathnasium was a great find for us and the results speak for themselves.
