  • Tosa Youth Triathlon - Saturday, August 25, 2018
    • Once again, we are sponsoring this awesome event at Hoyt Park and Pool for kids ages 9-15.
    • Keep an eye out for our booth to spin the wheel and pickup cool prizes from Mathnasium.

  • Firefly Art Fair - Saturday, August 4, 2018
    • ​We are really excited to be at this event, as it's in our backyard. A few of your favorite instructors will be here to play games and challenge students with math questions for prizes!

  • Mathnasium Monday's at Hoyt Park & Pool - Monday's throughout Summer
    • We've partnered with Hoyt Park & Pool each Monday this summer from 11am - 1pm. We are bringing some of our favorite math games and handing out free sunglasses. Stop by, say hi, and challenge one of us to a game of 4-Way Countdown or Newton!

  • Despicable Me 3: Member Movie Night - Monday, July 16, 2018
    • Excited to sponsor a fun night of swimming and a family movie night under the stars!

  • Wauwatosa's 4th of July Parade - Wednesday, July 4, 2018
    • ​Wow! That was quite the crowd at Tosa's very own 4th of July Parade. We handed out nearly 3,500 Mathnasium suckers and a dozen of our students joined us on the 1.7 mile parade route. It was a beautiful day and multiple instructors and even our mascot, Ace, was there!
  • High Interest Day - Multiple Dates
    • We've been invited to participate in High Interest Day for multiple schools in 2018. We are presenting a fun activity on the probability of picking colors of Skittles!

  • TETNA Run Tosa Run - Saturday, May 19, 2018
    • We are sponsoring and participating in the nearby NA 5K. The finish line is just a block from our center at 69th and North. We'll have a booth to talk with families about our summer program and cheer on our neighbors!

  • McKinley Math Night - Tuesday, April 10, 2018
    • We joined McKinley Elementary families ​in another awesome Math Night! It was a great night for parents to play math games with their kiddos and earn
    • some cool prizes.

  • Mathnasium of Wauwatosa 5K! - Friday, March 30, 2018
    • Our Owner/Center Director, Derek, ran a 5K inside of Mathnasium to promote estimation and measurement skills for our students. 
    • It took 186 Laps and 5,849 Steps to complete this 5K.

  • The Boy Who Loved Math (And Girls Do Too!) Book Event - Saturday, February 10, 2018
    • Join us for a fun-filled FREE event where we will explore the life of Paul Erdos, a kid who loved math and grew up to be a famous mathematician. Let's play a few math games, learn about prime numbers, and enjoy treats together! Stop by the center to pickup a copy of the book (or look for it at the Tosa Library).

  • Math Night at Milwaukee French Immersion School - Thursday, November 2, 2017
    • MFIS PTA was one of 35 PTA's in the country to win the coveted STEM + Families: Mathnasium Math Night Grant! We are partnering with MFIS to put on an awesome night of fun, food, and math games.

  • Tosa East Towne Neighorhood Association Trick-or-Treat - Saturday, October 28, 2017
    • Who doesn't love a good Trick-or-Treat event? We are supporting our TETNA neighbors by ensuring each kid that participates gets a cool Activity Book to take home!

    • This group is all about creativity and problem solving. Two things that we truly value in mathematics and at Mathnasium. Excited to support their kickoff event and meet with families!

  • Washington Elementary Game Night - Friday, October 6, 2017
    • Game Nights aren't complete without our favorite game - the 24 Game! We are donating a few boxes to this night and hope they can be used by classroom teachers throughout the year. 
  • Tosa EFW Bowling Night - Saturday, September 30, 2017
    • ​Once we heard that all EFW event fundraising goes toward classroom grants, we had to jump on board. We exist to support mathematics learning in every school in our area, so we are excited to help!

  • Chili'n on the Ave - Saturday, September 16, 2017
    • One of our favorite events of the year, as we will be located just blocks from this party on North Avenue! As a sponsor, we had our tent setup with all sorts of information about our Grand Opening. We met so many great families, especially a lot of East Tosa residents, who shared in the excitement of our opening.

  • Tosa Youth Triathlon at Hoyt Park - Saturday, August 26, 2017 
    • As a sponsor of this event, we were there with our tent and prize wheel to meet with families and cheer on the participants! We gave away a lot of cool Mathnasium swag and met a lot of great families.

  • Tosa All-City Read at the Farmer's Market - Saturday, August 26, 2017
    • We purchased 100 copies of the children's recommendation, The Boy Who Loved Math: The Improbable Life of Paul Erdos (Air-dish). Each book came with a special Mathnasium prize inside. We plan to do a follow up event for this book in February 2018 at the center!
