Clear and Sunny!

Our Team

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:

Andrew Kelly, Owner

After spending several years as an information technology consultant in corporate America, Andrew now focuses his time and energy on helping students excel in math, owning two Mathnasiums (Countryside and Westchase). Andrew has a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Maine, a B.A. in Meteorology from Texas A&M, and an MBA from Rollins College. He served as a weather officer in Air Force special operations and is a decorated Desert Storm veteran. He also served in the U.S. Peace Corps as an economics teacher in Kazakhstan, where he learned to speak fluent Russian. He lives in Dunedin with his wife Terrie and their golden retriever Archie (who makes an occasional appearance at our Mathnasiums).

CenterDirectorAmyLee Pritchard, Center Director

We are excited to have AmyLee at the helm of Mathnasium of Westchase.  Previously AmyLee was an elementary teacher in Orange, Polk and Pasco Counties.  AmyLee holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Transformational Teaching and Learning, and is currently working toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. In her spare time AmyLee enjoys the world of online gaming, biking and spending time with her sister and her cat Thumper.  Interesting fact about AmyLee - she started college when she was just 14 years old and had her Bachelors Degree by age 19!

Daniel Jones, Instructor

Daniel is a college student pursuing a management information systems degree at the University of South Florida. Daniel loves learning new things and helping others expand their own knowledge. He has greatly enjoyed math, science, and reading, but his favorite subject is history. Daniel loves learning so much that he has begun studying in an attempt to be on Jeopardy. When Daniel isn't learning random facts, he's out on the ice playing hockey or at home doing off-ice training.

Abigail Kruep, Instructor

Abigail is a high school junior who really enjoys math. "I'm currently taking AP Calculus and am a quick learner!" She was in competitive gymnastics for many years and currently enjoys crossfit. She loves math and loves working with kids.

Jessica Newman, @Home Instructor

Jessica is a senior at the University of South Florida, majoring in Statistics and Psychology.  She has a passion for working with kids and a very energetic personality, which really shows in how engaged her online students are with her.  When she's not studying or working at Mathnasium, Jessica enjoys her family and friend time and having spontaneous adventures!

Camilo Fonseca, @Home Instructor

Camilo is a junior journalism student at Emerson College in Boston, pursuing minors in philosophy and political science.  Aside from math, Camilo is very passionate about the humanities and current affairs, and he is the editor of his college newspaper, the Berkeley Beacon.  Camilo is an Eagle Scout and when he's not instructing Mathnasium kids you can find him camping, hiking and spending time in the Great Outdoors!
