Tom C.

Business Owner and Center Director
Tom is an Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Winchester joining after a successful career across several engineering, consulting, and technology companies. He served as a senior leader with Microsoft for many years, driving change and directing a variety of major corporate initiatives and transformation programs. With a BS and MS in Civil Engineering coupled with an MBA, Tom has an extensive background in mathematics that has been tested and reinforced through practical application in the business world. He is enthusiastic about working with kids using the Mathnasium Method to help teach math in a way that makes sense to them.

Jing S.

Co-Owner and Center Director
Jing is the co-center director of Mathnasium of Winchester, opening the center following a lengthy career in computer network security and software engineering in the federal government and private sector. With a BS in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics, Jing is deeply familiar with math concepts and computation, and the fundamental importance of mathematical knowledge in elementary and secondary education. As a parent that is highly involved in her child’s education, she is enthusiastic about enriching the community and helping children increase their mathematical competency.

Karen G.

Instructor
Karen has a huge ambition for math, computer science, and social justice. She has excelled in multiple advanced math classes (AP Calculus BC, Calculus III) and will graduate high school with an Associates Degree in General Studies. She holds multiple leadership positions in Key Club, Coding/Robotics Club, and Diversify Our Narrative, while also spending time volunteering at her local library and being a part of the Teen Advisory Board. Karen looks forward to teaching the next generation of math scholars!
