"Special Percents" 0% means “none of it”  25% means “a quarter of it”  50% means “half of it”  100% means “all of it”  200% means “all of it, twice”

 

These percents are "special" because they are easy to solve and are great for estimating!  The most common mistake made with percents is putting the decimal place in the correct place.  You can use special percents to estimate your answer first and see if your answer is reasonable!
