Mohamed Elsukary

Center Director

Mohamed is the Center Director of Mathnasium Uptown Mirdif, UAE. He is from Alexandria, Egypt and graduated from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. What he enjoys most about Mathnasium is the atmosphere, the way in which the instructors help one another and the feedback they receive from students and parents. He has loved Math ever since he was a little child. He thinks that most students who don't like Math is due to the way in which it was taught to them. This has given Mohamed the motivation to want to teach Math and has improved his Math skills since joining Mathnasium. He started his journey at Mathnasium as an Instructor in December 2020, progressingly quickly to becoming an assistant to the Center Director, then became the Center Director since February 2021. Mohamed loves reading, writing, road trips, playing football and traveling.

Catherine Rivera

Instructor

Catherine Rivera, is an Instructor at Mathnasium, Mirdif since December 2022. She graduated at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education major in Mathematics. She has been teaching for 4 years and she always enjoy seeing the smiles in her students’ faces every time they finally learn to solve or do something that has been hard for them. She loves teaching in Mathnasium because of the unique ways in how they teach Math and how they make it simple. She has confidence that every student has their unique way of learning so she explores a lot of teaching methods to help the students understand Math in the most effective and simplest way as possible. She spends most of her free time cooking and talking to her loved ones.

Lina Carillo

Assistant Center Director

Lina, originally from the Philippines, earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Management, from Wesleyan University in the Philippines. While studying, she developed strong administrative and organizational skills as a Student Assistant for two years.

After graduation, she worked for 19 years as an Administrative Assistant at Royce Motorcycle Trade Corporation, gaining experience in office management, customer service, and team support.

In 2016, she moved to the UAE, where she worked at the College of Fashion and Design-Dubai as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, and HR Coordinator. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Center Director for Mathnasium Al Barsha and Mizhar branches, contributing to team success with dedication and professionalism.
