My daughter was doing well at maths but was starting to lose interest. We did some private tutoring but this didn’t keep her interested. Since starting Mathnasium her grades have continued to improve and she is doing exceptional well. Now she loves maths and Mathnasium so much that she asks for more maths lessons!

We sent our sons who are in Year 8 and Year 11 to Mathnasium as I was panicking that their exam is a only a few weeks away. I cannot recommend Mathsnasium high enough!! Honestly, my kids actually enjoy going, their grades have improved significantly and they feel so supported. It's not just a program they follow, they receive tailored support! It is a wonderful learning environment, great location, the teachers are all very skilled, friendly and also know how to keep students engaged and motivated. There is a reward system in place too with nice incentives for growth and progress within the centre. It caters for all ages/grades and the groups are small so teachers can attend to all the students needs. The centre manager Erfan is so knowledgeable, friendly, keeps everything running smoothly, ensures student and parent satisfaction with exceptional communication. My kids have been with Gordon Mathnasium for 6 months, and I have been really happy with the communication with the tutors and staff at the centre. We looked for a math tutor for our daughter Audrey after she began to fall behind her peers in Grade 2 math. Her teacher described it as a "mind block with numbers" that they hadn't managed to break through with her yet. Maths was her least favourite subject in school despite her putting in real effort to learn, it just wasn't clicking in her brain. We tried a few online math tutors with no success and Audrey would often finish the online lesson in tears stating she just didn't understand. We hoped that a face-to-face tutor might make a difference, so we reached out to our local Mathnasium centre and enrolled Audrey into a trial lesson. The feedback we got after the initial assessment highlighted where she was at academically and the area's she needed focused attention. She instantly felt comfortable with the staff there and she found a few tutors that were able to explain the math concepts in ways that made sense to her. She enjoys all her math lessons and never complains about going, in fact she often is excited to go and always happy with what she achieved during her lesson when I pick her up. The tutors always keep us updated with the topics she is learning and her progress in the assessments weekly. You can't fault their communication with parents. Audrey recently received a commendation in Math class for her achievements and effort, which shows us she has made progress in the few short months at Mathnasium. We feel it's a worthy investment and we're happy to continue with Mathnasium for the foreseeable future!
