One-on-One Maths Homework Help

My daughter was doing well at maths but was starting to lose interest. We did some private tutoring but this didn’t keep her interested. Since starting Mathnasium her grades have continued to improve and she is doing exceptional well. Now she loves maths and Mathnasium so much that she asks for more maths lessons!

We sent our sons who are in Year 8 and Year 11 to Mathnasium as I was panicking that their exam is a only a few weeks away. After not even 9 sessions in that very month, we were so surprised that our year 8 son improved from grade C (just a passing mark) to grade B in Maths! Our year 11 son improved from grade B to grade A (96% score, covering 8 topics in Maths). I remembered after the first lesson in Mathnasium he said, "I think I just started to understand all the 8 topics i learnt for 3 months at school." They are so motivated to attend every lessons in Mathnasium and we are very happy with the progress. We hope they will keep up with the momentum. Thank Mathnasium Sunnybank Hills!

The team is lovely and supportive. The kids enjoy attending and are quite engaged. The communication about their progress is fantastic.

My son started at Mathnasium about a year ago as a B/C student, and like many parents, I was worried it might be too much after a full day at school. Ruchie reassured me that the program focuses on making learning fun and doesn’t overload them with extra homework—and she was absolutely right. Over the past year, I’ve seen a huge improvement not only in his grades but also in his confidence. He now comes home feeling proud of himself, and recently achieved his very first A+ at school! I highly recommend Mathnasium to any parents, especially for kids with a shorter attention span. It’s made such a positive difference for us.

My husband and I have been so impressed with the tutoring our girls have received at Mathnasium. Not only have we noticed a huge improvement in their results, but their confidence and attitude towards math has completely transformed. They now approach challenges positively, and it’s reflected in both their behaviour and performance. Mathnasium has truly been a worthy investment, and we couldn’t recommend it more!

We are extremely happy with our experience at Mathnasium Rouse Hill. In just three months, my child's maths results improved from 50% to 89%, which has been amazing to see. The teachers and team are incredibly supportive, friendly, and genuinely care about each child's progress. Their personalised learning plan helped close learning gaps, build confidence, and provide valuable homework support. The one-on-one approach has made a huge difference, and my child now enjoys maths much more. I highly recommend Mathnasium Rouse Hill to any parent looking for quality maths tutoring and real results.

I cannot recommend Mathsnasium high enough!! Honestly, my kids actually enjoy going, their grades have improved significantly and they feel so supported. It's not just a program they follow, they receive tailored support! It is a wonderful learning environment, great location, the teachers are all very skilled, friendly and also know how to keep students engaged and motivated. There is a reward system in place too with nice incentives for growth and progress within the centre. It caters for all ages/grades and the groups are small so teachers can attend to all the students needs. The centre manager Erfan is so knowledgeable, friendly, keeps everything running smoothly, ensures student and parent satisfaction with exceptional communication. I rank Mathsnasium as truly outstanding service therefore recommend them to everyone!

Both of my children love maths and wanted something more challenging, and Mathnasium has been a great fit for them. They genuinely enjoy the sessions and are excited to learn new concepts. We also really appreciate the flexibility of the program, which makes it easy to fit around our family’s schedule. The staff are always welcoming, professional, and provide excellent service. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would highly recommend Mathnasium

Our kid has been attending the Rouse Hill centre for a few months, and we've had a positive experience so far. Their mathematics program is set to be engaging and fun for kids. My kid talks about this class very fondly. They have a flexible schedule, and the staff are very friendly as well.

We’ve had a great experience with Mathnasium at Upper Mount Gravatt. The team has been very supportive and attentive to my daughter’s learning progress. We really appreciate the detailed feedback and structured approach—they not only focus on building strong maths skills but also help develop confidence and problem-solving ability. It’s especially encouraging to see her progressing well and being challenged at the right level. The staff are professional, friendly, and genuinely care about each student’s development. Highly recommend Mathnasium to any parents looking for quality maths support.

My daughter has gained so much confidence since starting at Mathnasium. Between the encouraging tutors, the exciting prize system, and the child friendly environment, she couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Mathnasium to everyone, it has been a game changer!

My kids have been with Gordon Mathnasium for 6 months, and I have been really happy with the communication with the tutors and staff at the centre. They respond quickly, have time to give feedback and are very accommodating. My kids have also commented on how they have learnt concepts easily because they have been explained well by the tutors. I like how there is no extra work for the kids to do outside of the session times, so there is no battle at home to get them to do work.

We love Mathnasium my daughter really enjoys going there and has gained so much more confidence with her maths. She has a better understanding and has learnt so much. Ally and her team are always super supportive and helpful. We highly recommend Mathnasium.

We looked for a math tutor for our daughter Audrey after she began to fall behind her peers in Grade 2 math. Her teacher described it as a "mind block with numbers" that they hadn't managed to break through with her yet. Maths was her least favourite subject in school despite her putting in real effort to learn, it just wasn't clicking in her brain. We tried a few online math tutors with no success and Audrey would often finish the online lesson in tears stating she just didn't understand. We hoped that a face-to-face tutor might make a difference, so we reached out to our local Mathnasium centre and enrolled Audrey into a trial lesson. The feedback we got after the initial assessment highlighted where she was at academically and the area's she needed focused attention. She instantly felt comfortable with the staff there and she found a few tutors that were able to explain the math concepts in ways that made sense to her. She enjoys all her math lessons and never complains about going, in fact she often is excited to go and always happy with what she achieved during her lesson when I pick her up. The tutors always keep us updated with the topics she is learning and her progress in the assessments weekly. You can't fault their communication with parents. Audrey recently received a commendation in Math class for her achievements and effort, which shows us she has made progress in the few short months at Mathnasium. We feel it's a worthy investment and we're happy to continue with Mathnasium for the foreseeable future! We're looking forward to Audrey's next math assessments at school to really track her progress.

We enrolled our 10 year old daughter at Mathnasium Craigieburn because her maths skills were quite low and she had completely lost interest in the subject. Within just a few weeks, we noticed clear improvements; not only in her skills but also in her confidence. She has now completed her expected skill levels comfortably, and the transformation has been amazing. She actually loves maths now, something we never expected to hear before joining Mathnasium. Her school teachers have also started giving positive feedback about her progress, which reassures us even more. The teachers at Mathnasium Craigieburn has truly made a difference in her learning journey. We’re very grateful for their support and special thank goes to Shipra for her outstanding support and guidance. Highly recommend them to any parent looking to help their child build strong maths skills and confidence.
