Salman is passionate about helping children unlock their full potential in learning. He believes that anyone can excel in mathematics, just as we naturally learn to speak a language fluently. Having studied and taught mathematics at the university level, he quickly recognized that the right tools, techniques, and methods can make math both accessible and enjoyable. The key lies in teaching in a way that resonates with each student, using structured yet engaging materials. This belief led him to Mathnasium, whose proven approach—centered on rigorous assessment, customized learning programs, and intuitive teaching—stood out as a powerful way to transform how students experience math.
Inspired by Mathnasium’s global success, Salman helped bring the program to Singapore, where it has flourished, helping hundreds of students build confidence and a strong foundation in mathematics in local and international schools. His commitment to education is also reflected in his own academic journey. He holds a BA degree from Brown University (magna cum laude) and an MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge. Having lived in Singapore for the past 14 years, his children attended United World College (Dover Campus) - his son is currently majoring in Mathematics at Yale College, and his daughter is in her second year at Harvard Law School.
