Ashley is a seasoned educator who’s worked with students all the way from elementary school up to college in subjects like Maths, Science, English, History, and Rhetoric. She also has a degree in Illustration from Seattle Pacific University and has spent a lot of time working with students who have dyslexia and dyscalculia. Her background in both business and art helps her connect with students and families in ways that are easy to understand and meaningful. At Mathnasium, Ashley is pumped to help students on their learning journey, making maths both fun, relevant to their current goals and understandable!

Issy

Instructor

Issy is a multinational multi-talent with a background in New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, and Japan! She is studying Biomedical Engineering at The University of Melbourne. She has attained high achievement in STEM while also nurturing a passion for the arts and how they intersect. She is excellent with a variety of maths methods and has a great talent for helping students extend their existing knowledge to understand new material.

Issy is a big fan of art and loves oil painting when not teaching or studying.

Shreya

Instructor

Hi my name is Shreya! I’m an undergraduate student studying Computer Science and am pursuing my honours in Maths. I’ve always enjoyed maths and love finding different ways to approach a problem. Having worked with children as a tutor and camp instructor, I’ve learnt the importance of being patient and adapting to different learning styles. I enjoy helping students build their confidence, and see that maths can be more approachable than they might think!

Mutinda

Instructor
Hey there, my name is Mutinda!
I'm currently pursuing a degree in engineering.
My favourite part of teaching math is watching students' confidence grow. After many years of working with students I have fostered a love for teaching and the patience for all the possible questions you may have.
I have been working with students from a young age in order to improve their maths by exploring the different ways to solve for an answer or having more fun tackling challenging questions.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children maths so they understand it, master it, and love it. Maths can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make maths make sense, while also making a student smile.
