Our center sits in a convenient shopping area near Mobitechxpress, Rumors Nails and Spa, and Music and Arts. Families enjoy easy parking and a variety of nearby shops and services, making pick up and drop off simple and stress free.

• Does Mathnasium of Copperfield offer online tutoring?

  Yes, Mathnasium of Copperfield provides both in-center and online tutoring.   

  All our students receive caring face-to-face instruction in a fun small-group environment, whether they attend in person or log in virtually. 

• Is there a difference between online and in‑person tutoring?

  No, the experience is designed to be consistent across both formats.  

  Online students follow the same customized learning plans and work directly with the specially trained tutors they would meet at our Houston center. 

• What math classes can your Copperfield tutors help with?

  We offer a flat monthly membership along with a one‑time enrollment fee. Most students attend regularly two to three times per week. After a diagnostic assessment, we create a personalized learning plan and recommend a meeting schedule that supports your child’s goals.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in‑center math tutoring?

  There is no difference! Membership pricing is the same for all students, whether they choose to attend sessions online, in person, or use a hybrid approach.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  At Mathnasium of Copperfield, students begin the enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us identify their learning style, needs, and goals.   

  Using assessment-based insights, we create a learning plan that will help them truly understand and even start to enjoy math, making meaningful progress at their own pace. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Copperfield, we do not follow a traditional curriculum. We use our proprietary approach called the Mathnasium Method™, which combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques to develop solid foundations for math mastery. 

  Our approach builds on each student’s existing knowledge, addressing the gaps in their understanding and introducing new concepts gradually and in a logical sequence. We work with students to expand their mathematical thinking so they can build the skills and confidence to excel in the classroom and beyond. 

• Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

  Both! We support students of all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or are ready to get ahead on their math journey. 

  Students who are struggling with math receive caring, targeted instruction to (re)build foundational skills and confidence. Advanced learners enjoy personalized enrichment opportunities designed to challenge their thinking and deepen their understanding. 

• Do you work with homeschooled students in Copperfield?

  Absolutely! We welcome homeschooled students as well as those who attend public or private schools across Houston, including Copperfield, and nearby communities.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes, homework help is included in our sessions. Our tutors set aside time to help with assignments so students can reinforce the concepts they are covering at school and reduce stress at home. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning takes place during the sessions. We do not assign additional homework, so students can focus fully and make meaningful progress while they are with us.

• Does Mathnasium of Copperfield prepare students for math on standardized tests?

  Yes. Mathnasium of Copperfield helps students get ready for math on standardized tests such as state exams, the SAT®, and ACT®.  

  Our program combines targeted practice with problem-solving strategies, as well as confidence-building support, so students perform their best on test day and beyond.
