One-on-One Math Homework Help

My daughter had started at Mathenesium Westwood 5 months ago and we have seen drastic improvement in her math grades. More importantly she is able to grasp the concepts and has gotten much faster at solving problems. Thanks to Rivian at Mathenesium Westwood for recommending one of one classes for my daughter based on my daughter’s personality! I would recommend this location to anyone around this area looking for math tutoring for their kids.

My son really likes Mathnasium. He doesn’t fight me when I say it’s time to go for tutoring. He actually enjoys it! His confidence and skills in math have improved in only 2 months. At age 5, my son was already excited about math. I reached out to Mathnasium hoping they could help him round out and grow his skills. They have been fantastic! I’ve listened in on parts of his lessons, and the instructors have been patient, professional, and friendly with him. My son hasn’t lacked for enthusiasm, but I am consistently impressed with how effective they are at keeping a young student’s focus (not easy). And I’ve seen them manage the same professionalism with difficult students as with eager ones. Highly recommended!

My son started going to Mathnasium in Lake Highlands at the beginning of the last school year. He had fallen behind in math in second grade and I wanted him to be ready for the STAAR test in third grade. He did an assessment and started going to Mathnasium twice a week. The manager, Robert, is great and easy to work with. Halfway through the school year, my son had already made great progress and he was able to move to once a week. He ended the school year getting an award from him teacher for “Most Improved in Math.” The instructors at Mathnasium do a great job of engaging the kids and motivating them. They have theme days, prizes, and treats. My daughter is doing well in math, but was eager to join her older brother at Mathnasium. She gives it 5 starts with a special out to Mr. Garrett!

Hi ! My daughter has been going to Mathnasium Commack for two years. The staff and tutors are excellent and they have really helped my daughter master and excel in mathematical concepts . They are organized and friendly making Math comprehensive and fun. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking to enhance their math skills. Five stars !

I have been bringing my child every summer to this particular Mathnasium location for the past four years and I can definitely see the benefits. She has leveled up an entire school year and is super confident in her math skills. She truly enjoys coming here. Learning math is like a game for her and doesn’t feel like a chore or a burden. The staff is wonderful here, especially Nate.

I read stories of kids starting to love math going to Mathnasium but didn't think it would happen with my kids. They went in for the initial assessment dragging their feet, hating math and they were not at all excited about the prospect of summer math tutoring. After the initial assessment with Carlo explaining techniques that are totally new and make math easier and more understandable they just lit up. They've been going for a month and absolutely LOVING it! They've had a total 360 with their attitude toward math and are excited about doing math, feel more confident and look forward to going daily. Would highly recommend Carlo and his team!

We wanted our children to stay ahead of their school math curriculum, be well prepared for state testing, and have the opportunity to reinforce concepts they had already learned. Mathnasium has helped us achieve exactly that. While it is on the expensive side, sometimes you have to make thoughtful choices when it comes to your children’s education. Mary and Robin are phenomenal—always flexible with scheduling and very accommodating when we needed to place our account on hold during time away. Overall, it has been a very positive experience, and our kids are meeting and exceeding our expectations.

Mathnasium has advanced my son’s understanding of algebra and prepared him to skip a level of math. It’s also ideally located between local business that serve delicious pizza, beer, and popcorn. And I like pizza, beer, and popcorn.

Great experience at Mathnasium! The instructors are patient, supportive, and really know how to explain concepts in a way that makes sense. Highly recommend for anyone who wants extra help or to get ahead in math. My daughter looks forward to going and gets lots of help with her homework. When she struggles with a concept, they continue to work on it until she gets it.

This Mathnasium on 6th in Denver has an amazing staff headed by Evan. My daughter started a year ago, below grade level due to Dyscalculia. One year later, she is a grade level above! Yes, my daughter worked hard, but the staff at Mathnasium gave her the confidence to dive into math. Now, Math is one of her favorite subjects. THANK YOU!!!
