Bridget Cleary, Director
Bridget graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Florida. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate career Bridget tutored and taught classes ranging from elementary school math to upper-class calculus and computer science courses.
Bridget has spent the past twelve years working in a variety of IT and software engineering jobs. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for math with children of all ages. Bridget and her husband Brian have been living in Smyrna since 2001. They have two daughters, Erin and Maura.
Avoid the Summer Slide! Studies have found that on average studentslose approximately 2.6 monthsof grade level skills over the summer months. (Source: Center for Summer Learning, Johns Hopkins University) Our summer programs are designed to give your child an opportunity to REVIEW and MASTER math concepts and skills. This will give your child a JUMP START to the new school year in a fun, relaxed environment. Weekly camps run Monday-Friday 9am – 12pm.
The traditional Mathnasium year-round program is also available afternoons Monday through Thursday 3-7 and Saturday mornings 9-12.

This camp is designed for students going into 4th grade and up. Concepts presented include Drawing and Naming Fractions, Proper Fractions, Improper Fractions, Mixed Numbers, Comparing Fractions, Adding & Subtracting Fractions, and Word Problems with Fractions. Cost: $225/week. | 4, 5, 6+ |

This camp is designed for students going into 3rd grade and up who want to master their Times Tables. Concepts presented include: Counting in Equal Groups, Multiplication as Repeated Addition, Times Tables and Word Problems Using Multiplication Facts. Cost: $225/week. | 3, 4, 5+ |
| Math Readiness 6/21 or 7/6 |
This camp is designed to help young students establish the foundation for their “number sense” through games, crafts, songs and a little written work. Our goal is to develop a positive attitude and an awareness of mathematical principles. Cost: $195/week. | K, 1 |
| Early Elementary 6/28 |
This is a camp to reinforce the math concepts of early elementary grades. Concepts presented include: Addition & Subtraction Facts, Money, Time, and Problem Solving. We'll also age appropriate games and activities. Cost: $195/week. | 1, 2, 3 |
| Afternoon Tutoring June & July |
The traditional Mathnasium program continues through the summer. Students work with our instructors on a tailor-made curriculum. Unlimited one-hour visits during our afternoon hours Mon thru Thurs 3-7 and Saturday mornings 9-12. Call for pricing. | 2 thru12 |
