Center Director
Mike is the Center Director at Mathnasium, where he combines his leadership experience with a passion for education to help students build strong math skills. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Mike previously worked in management and sales before transitioning into education.
He believes that a solid math foundation is critical not only for success in STEM fields but in life overall. Mike is committed to making math make sense for every student and helping them gain the confidence they need to thrive academically and beyond
Lauren
Director of Training
As Director of Training, Lauren brings a deep love of math and a strong academic background to Mathnasium. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on Mathematics Education and Psychology.
Her coursework includes College Algebra, Calculus I–III, Differential Equations, and Statistics I & II. Lauren’s passion for math education began in high school and continues to grow with every student she helps. Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, she has dedicated herself to making math both challenging and fun, helping students discover that they can succeed and even enjoy math.
Jodi
Director of Education
Jodi is the Director of Education at Mathnasium and brings over 20 years of classroom experience to the team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and Math from Hope College, along with a Master’s in Math Education and a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. Jodi has taught everything from 8th-grade math to IB Math Studies and is also a certified gifted instructor.
Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the “aha” moments when students master difficult concepts. She firmly believes that with the right tools and support, every student can succeed in math.
