    There is no difference! Membership pricing is the same for all students, whether they choose to attend sessions online, in person, or use a hybrid approach.

  • Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

    The purpose of the diagnostic assessment is to provide insight into the student’s current skill level, learning style, and unique goals. We use these insights to create a learning plan tailored to their specific needs, so they can truly understand math and build the skills they need to advance.

  • How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

    We don’t follow a fixed curriculum. At Mathnasium of Portsmouth, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math.   

    Following this approach, our specially trained tutors build on students' existing knowledge, introducing new concepts step-by-step to gradually increase their mathematical thinking, while developing lasting confidence and competence in math.
