National PTA recently thanked Mathnasium and other sponsors of their STEM + Families initiative for what they do to "engage families in STEM education and increase access to STEM experiences for all students.” Specifically mentioned were the thirty-five STEM + Families Math Grants sponsored by Mathnasium and awarded to PTA's around the country.
Mathnasium is pleased to support this initiative which connects families, educators, and Mathnasium Learning Centers in their common goal of giving students of all ages access to enjoyable and educational STEM experiences. We echo the sentiment of Nathan R. Monell, CAE, National PTA executive director, that “Including families as meaningful partners in STEM education and career pathways is critical to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals and ensure the long-term economic success of our nation.”
