Halloween 2024: Mystery Coloring and Graphing Activities!
We’re getting ready for a spooktacular Halloween with some math-y at-home activities!
We are so thrilled with the enthusiastic response we received to our Teacher Appreciation contest! So many parents and students reached out to sing the well-deserved praises of beloved teachers who have touched their lives, and we're honored that they shared their stories with us.
Please join us in congratulating our two winning teachers, Nancy Bromhead and Ann Syvertsen! They truly make a difference in their students lives, and we're pleased to be able to recognize them. They will each receive a special "thank you" Mathnasium prize pack!

"Mrs. Bromhead teaches 4th grade at Windermere Elementary School. She has had amazing patience with my son, who is both highly gifted and ADHD. She has accommodated his need for challenging curriculum by giving us challenging work in math, and has patiently dealt with him when he wanders around the room, forgets to turn in assignments, and is generally disorganized.
Mrs. Bromhead is willing to meet with us anytime we want to have a conference, and she does me the favor of emailing me every day to let me know how my son behaved that day. She is always willing to talk on the phone after hours if I need to discuss something with her. And she does it all with a wonderful sense of humor and a smile on her face. The children, including my son, absolutely love her and she loves them right back. She is everything you could ask for in a teacher."

"I nominate Madame Syvertsen at Faith Hope and Charity school. I am a 2nd grader at 'FHC'. Madame is smart, kind and patient even though it can be hard sometimes."

Thanks to everyone who sent in nominations!
A huge thanks to these two teachers and the many more who work so hard each and every day - without you we couldn't do what we love!
