  Students who choose to attend online receive live, face-to-face instruction in a fun and supportive group environment, guided by our same caring tutors in Brookfield whether they attend online or in person.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in-center, all our students receive the same quality of live face-to-face instruction.   

  Online students follow the same personalized learning plans and receive the same caring support from our specially trained tutors as their peers who attend Mathnasium in person.

  There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership.  

  We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No. Membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in person, or a combination of both. 

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of Brookfield?

  Each student is given a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints their strengths, knowledge gaps, and unique goals, so that we can create a personalized learning plan that will put them on the best path to math mastery. 

• How do you teach math? What method or curriculum do you use?

  Unlike a math class, Mathnasium teaches to the individual. Our expert instructors provide face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment, adjusting to each student’s learning pace. 

  We use The Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written teaching techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know and expand their mathematical thinking.
