Magnesium is a great opportunity for students to improve their learning in math. Its schedule is so flexible, that I can make changes based on my weekly schedule easily online. My daughters are so happy there.

My daughter really enjoys going here. They are very friendly and always willing to listen and help out any way they can. I feel like my daughter is mastering math concepts that she did not learn through school. They also do a great job making math fun by giving them the opportunity to earn stars and win prizes.

Our kids have been attending Forest Hill Mathnasium for several years now. We had tried a different math program before Mathnasium for one of our kids, but it was quite rigid and time consuming. Our kiddo was incredibly stressed by it and seemed to be getting more frustrated with math, not less. Mathnasium was such a breath of fresh air and has instilled such confidence on our kids. They happily subscribe to the philosophy that there are many correct ways to solve an equation. They are capable of constantly assessing each kid to see where the kid can sail through an area that is easy peasy for them, and where more thoughtful revision is needed. Best of all, while my kids may be grouchy when leaving the house for math, what’s astounding is that every single time we see them AFTER math, they are in high spirits. Somehow, the lovely teachers at Mathnasium, with their patience, humour, sweetness, and excellent teaching skills are always lifting my kids up. My kids now take for granted that they are “good” at math. Thank you, Forest Hill Mathnasium!

I have 1 child enrolled at Mathnasium and will likely end up enrolling another - not because she needs it, but because it provides such good learning and reinforcement of math concepts. The child I do have enrolled has been going for a few months now. She absolutely hates math but NEVER complains about going to Mathnasium. All of the staff are great and Maria is just lovely. The program is very organized and they do things to make going to tutoring fun. Highly recommend.

I’m glad I took my daughter to this place, she has learned so much in a few months. The Instructors are knowledgeable and patient and, most importantly, available to get the students unstuck, providing guidance and helping them arrive at the correct answer on their own. To hear my daughter say “dad, math is my favourite subject now” was so rewarding.

My experience has been great!! I have my grandson enrolled in their program & he is doing really great. I like the fact that I get progress reports after each of his sessions & reports cards that show me exactly how far he has come along. I also like that fact that if your child needs extra help, they can bring their school math to them for that help. I would recommend the Newmarket Mathnasium to anyone who has a child that needs math help.

I want to share a wonderful experience my two daughters, aged 7 and 12, have had at the after-school math improvement program they attend. The staff at this program are simply the best, with one standout being Chris. He is not only a fantastic teacher who has helped my daughters immensely with their math skills, but he is also the nicest person you could meet. Chris's dedication and passion for teaching truly shine through in his interactions with the students, and my daughters have benefitted greatly from his expertise. I highly recommend this program to any parent looking to help their children excel in math.
